So, I hopped onto my YouTube channel yesterday, thinking I’d leave some thoughts on maybe ten different videos from channels I follow. But by the time I hit the tenth one, I realized my comments weren't actually sticking. Like, they just vanish—they aren't showing up on my end, and the comment count isn't even bumping up for the creator. At first, I thought it was just my crappy internet acting up, so I did the whole "unplug the power strip and plug it back in" dance—classic, right?—but when I logged back in an hour later, still nothing. And look, just to be clear, I am NOT some troll. I don't post anything offensive, discriminatory, or even remotely against the rules or basic human decency. Then, out of nowhere, the problem fixes itself for two hours, only to come screaming back around 10 PM and it's been stuck like this ever since. And yeah, I checked—Restricted Mode is definitely OFF.

I think this has happened twice now. The first time, it was a super short "commenting ban," if you want to call it that. This second time, it lasted longer—maybe 15 hours or so. Does anyone actually know what the deal is here? Is there a fix, or is it just one of those things where it magically resolves itself like the last three times?

Also, just a heads-up, I’m subscribed to about 900 channels. Yeah, yeah, I know, that’s a massive amount, but whatever—I like supporting creators I actually enjoy watching. But here’s the weird part: for some reason, it keeps telling me I’m only subscribed to a little over 600. When I hit subscribe on a new channel, it doesn't even register properly—the button should turn gray to show I'm subbed, but it won't, even though I keep getting notifications from them!

One more thing. Lately, logging into YouTube has been a total nightmare. I'm guessing it's probably just my connection being garbage, but it takes forever to load, and half the time I just get kicked out with some random error message saying something went wrong.

Thanks.

Check back in a day or two.
The videos or channels might have moderation turned on—meaning the creator manually picks which comments actually show up...
If that's the case, they probably aren't sitting there monitoring the feed 24/7 to approve everything instantly.

Alternatively, it could just be your sort settings—switching between 'newest,' 'oldest,' or 'top rated'...

It’s possible those YouTube videos or channels have comment moderation turned on—basically, the channel owner hand-picks which comments actually show up and which ones get buried...
If that's the case, they probably aren't sitting there glued to their screen 24/7 just to approve everything instantly.

Or, honestly, it could just be your sorting settings—like if you have them set to 'newest,' 'oldest,' or 'top rated'...

Nah, that's not it. I was commenting away like nothing was wrong around 2 PM. I knocked out comments on ten different videos, so there's no way I'd suddenly be blocked now.

Clearly, that second theory isn't what's going on here either.

Double post...

Look, this stuff has only popped up a handful of times, and if you look at the timeline of how everything went down, none of that other nonsense actually matters. But—and this is a big but—it would seriously help me out if someone could just tell me what to do and how to fix this mess once and for all.
