Can someone explain how arguing that current mandates target innocent people constitutes a crime under the "forum rules violation" policy? Does the moderator honestly believe that government officials are somehow immune to committing crimes? Or is wrapping a criminal act in the cellophane of an "epidemiological measure" supposed to give them a free pass? It seems like once something is wrapped in that label, you aren't even allowed to question it. I don't get the logic here.
During the Nazi era, state coercion against innocent people was masked by the phrase "purity and preservation of the Aryan race." Under communism, it was rebranded as "preserving brotherhood and unity." Today, the camps in Xinjiang are euphemistically called "re-education centers." Whenever a regime targets innocent individuals, it wraps its actions in layers of soft, melodic terminology to distract from the reality that these actions meet the textbook definition of a crime.
This is exactly what we are witnessing right now on a global scale through these mandatory lockdowns. The government exerts its power over completely innocent people under the guise of "epidemiological measures," "containment protocols," or "protecting public health." Behind these soothing, euphemistic labels, those running the machinery of state coercion are directing their force against blameless citizens. Whether they are attacking bodily autonomy, using vaccine passports as a form of extortion, enforcing isolations, or barring people from their jobs—it is all the same pattern.
Those being subjected to forced isolation are entirely innocent. They haven't done anything wrong to anyone. They bear no guilt whatsoever. Their only "offense" is breathing. Walking down the street isn't a crime or a misdemeanor. Having nucleotides in one's nasal passages isn't either. Going to work or attending a concert shouldn't be treated as such. Consequently, an individual outside of mandatory quarantine can do nothing but breathe. An unmasked person heading to their job or a concert can do nothing but breathe. That is their sole "fault"—breathing. Breathing is a spontaneous physiological process that, by its very nature, cannot be classified as a criminal offense or a violation. One cannot be held legally responsible for the act of breathing. Breathing is as innate to a person as their gender or skin color; to suggest otherwise would be akin to prosecuting someone based on their gender or the color of their skin.
Since guilt cannot exist ipso facto, those in power simply manufacture it through coercion. They are following the exact playbook used by every criminal regime in history: inventing a crime just to provide an alibi for their forced actions against an individual. In this specific instance, the fabricated offense is "spreading a contagious disease." If a person fails to comply with some arbitrary "epidemiological measure," they are falsely accused of the crime of spreading a virus. This accusation is fraudulent because, as previously established, no actual spreading is taking place. Spreading a disease implies a willful act, which is entirely absent here. There is only the physiological function of breathing.
Even from a biological standpoint, respiratory illness is ultimately the result of a compromised immune system. It is an individual's own immunity that allows the virus to enter the cells, effectively granting it "permission" to replicate, which leads to cellular destruction and subsequent sickness. A person falls ill because of their body's internal state and their failure to protect themselves by inhaling a virus from an environment they chose to enter. Therefore, when dealing with a respiratory virus, the responsibility lies solely with the individual and their own physiology. It is not the fault of anyone else simply breathing.
All forced epidemiological mandates are essentially criminal acts committed by government officials acting as an organized system of state coercion, alongside those tasked with enforcing them. They function as part of a criminal enterprise that victimizes innocent citizens, committing serious felonies and causing massive financial and personal devastation.
Let’s take a quick look at two examples of these crimes.
COVID passports constitute criminal acts of extortion, unfounded coercion, and abuse of power and authority. These measures were implemented to secure financial gains for the pharmaceutical industry and to mask the misappropriation of public funds through the creation of excessive vaccine stockpiles. Those in power have abused their positions to coerce the citizenry. People are being threatened with the seizure of what is rightfully theirs—their fundamental human rights and their civil liberties as American citizens. This happens unless they accept the vaccine or pay for testing. In reality, they are being blackmailed. They are forced to choose between risking injury or death from vaccine side effects or facing the loss of their livelihoods just to reclaim their basic rights. Under the U.S. Penal Code, specifically regarding extortion, anyone who compels another to act or refrain from acting to the detriment of their property can face prison sentences ranging from six months to five years. Furthermore, if such an act of coercion results in someone's death, the perpetrator faces a minimum sentence of five years in prison.
2) Masks. Forcing someone to wear a mask is a direct assault on an individual's bodily integrity. It restricts their natural breathing capacity and interferes with basic physiological functions. Even convicted criminals shouldn't be subjected to such treatment. Once guilt is proven, we might restrict their movement, but we don't violate their physical autonomy or biological processes. Here, innocent people are being mistreated in this manner. And it is happening on a massive scale.
We should not fall for soothing euphemisms; we need to call these actions what they truly are. These aren't "epidemiological measures"—they are criminal acts.
