Lewis Hamilton really had to make his move in those opening laps; if he hadn't, Max Verstappen would have just surged right past him...

He's young. He'll learn.

There was honestly zero chance he was taking that corner like that. I mean, seriously, Max just schooled him right out of the gate in those first few turns, the guy just completely fell apart... it’s basically the same old story at this point.

He’ll get slapped with a 100% certainty penalty—five seconds at the end that won't change a damn thing, but hey, at least "justice" was served.

Lewis Hamilton can never quite reach the level of Ayrton Senna.
L.H. just doesn't possess that same raw skill set. It's simply not there.

Racing incident, Max got the short end of the stick, on to the next one...

Max just keeps getting squeezed, man. No matter how much room he tries to give, he just gets bullied out there. It’s like, when you’re backed into a corner and have zero leverage, people just start throwing punches. 😍

As for Lewis, he isn't exactly setting the track on fire with speed right now, but man, he is incredibly crafty. He's playing the game, being super calculating and honestly kind of dirty if you ask me. But hey, I guess that's what we expected.

Honestly? Your opinion means nothing to me.

But I can't deny there's a certain satisfaction in watching a die-hard Senna fan vent all this bitterness toward Hamilton over today's results. 😁

I’ve never been one for following influencers, but Max is really his own worst enemy here. The guy has nowhere to hide when he's just sticking to his line.

Did anyone else catch him running wide at Turn 1? It seemed like nobody noticed, yet he didn't bother giving the position back.

He popped just like popcorn. 🤣

You guys are honestly being awful. 👎

It was just a standard, run-of-the-mill racing incident. One driver expects the other to give way, the other expects the space—they're fighting for position. If they’d collided at even a slightly different angle, we could have seen Hamilton spin out while Max stayed on track, or they both could have ended up in the gravel...

Lewis Hamilton isn't exactly breaking speed records here, but his tactical maneuvering is incredibly crafty—if you consider being sneaky a skill. Just as expected.

Exactly what I expected.

He kicked him out of the race with some seriously dirty driving. He’s looking at a 5-10 second penalty, which should help him sweep toward the podium and close that gap.

Well played, asshole. It seems like he always finds a way to pull this crap at Indianapolis whenever everyone else is fighting for track position. Total sore loser.

The guys over at Red Bull Racing are just weak—that wasn't even a corner where you could make a move 🤣
It’s funny how everyone here whines about wanting more racing, but then they turn around and call this a penalty. How exactly do you think frequent contact is going to end—with everyone just crashing out?

This is Formula 1; you're allowed to push everywhere

If Lewis Hamilton had squeezed Max Verstappen out there yesterday during the start, people would’ve been absolutely tearing him apart. Like, total dogpile. This kid just constantly closes the door on everyone, doesn't he? But honestly, Lewis looked way sharper this time around during that first lap and just refused to back down. I don't really get why he's always so quick to give in whenever he realizes he can't win the fight. This time he actually went for it, and hey, so be it.
Red flag and no penalty for Lewis... yeah, that's about the only thing that makes sense here.

Meh, I’d say Max Verstappen is at fault here, though Hamilton certainly has an incredible amount of luck. At least he didn't lose a wheel this time.🤣

He’s definitely going to face some kind of penalty; the only real question is how heavy it’ll be.

Listen, Toto Wolff, for heaven's sake...👎🤦

They're actually sending him diagrams.
