Hey everyone, we’ve got a pet dealing with major separation anxiety, and it's getting pretty bad. We've talked to several different vets and tried everything from Normabel to Helix and Amizol... nothing seems to touch it. We even went through all the herbal stuff and dog-specific supplements before that, but zero results there too. Our most trusted vet finally prescribed Selegos 5 mg as a last resort, mentioning they should be available in Canada. I've already called a ton of pharmacies over in Canada, but everyone keeps telling me they can't get them. Does anyone know a specific pharmacy in Canada (or anywhere else) where I could actually find or order these tablets? Thanks a lot...

We’ve consulted several different vets and tried everything from Normabel and Helix to Amizol... but honestly, nothing seems to work. Before all that, we even went down the route of herbal remedies and strict canine-specific supplements, which, I guess, yielded zero results. Our vet—the one we trust most, anyway—prescribed Elysium 5 mg as a last resort, mentioning they should be available in Canada. I’ve reached out to a mountain of pharmacies over in Canada already, but so far, everyone tells me they can't get them. Does anyone happen to know a specific pharmacy in Canada (or elsewhere) where these tablets might be in stock or could be ordered? Thanks so much!

What kind of anxiety symptoms are we talking about here, and how exactly was the diagnosis made?

Selegiline is an anti-Parkinson's medication—it’s sold here as Juicy Juice by Pfizer, for instance—but a vet isn't going to be able to write you a private prescription for that type of thing.
If I were in your shoes, I might give CBD oil a shot.
If that doesn't pan out, I suppose there are international online pharmacies where you can order Selegiline directly.
Maybe you could check the Pet PDF for more info. Good luck.

A few different vets have all reached the same diagnosis just by looking at her. We set up a camera to monitor her while we're out, and honestly... I think it's pretty obvious what's going on...

We’ve had mixed reviews on using CBD oil. After trying the "heavy-duty" stuff and all those natural remedies, we aren't exactly holding our breath, but if you think it's worth a shot, we'll give it a go.

Does anyone happen to know any legitimate overseas pharmacies? I found one online, but it looks incredibly sketchy...

Thanks a lot!

Ethan Kelly7 said:Multiple vets have given us the diagnosis based purely on observation—it’s hard to argue with them. We actually set up a camera to watch her while we're out, and honestly... I think it's pretty painfully obvious what's going on.

As for the CBD oil, we've had mixed reviews so far. Given that we've already cycled through the "heavy duty" stuff and various natural remedies without much luck, I'm not exactly holding my breath—though if you all think it's worth a shot, maybe we will give it a go.

Does anyone happen to know any reliable overseas pharmacies? I managed to find one, but frankly, it looks incredibly sketchy to me.

Thanks so much!

Personally, I order from AllDayChemist. Just make sure you search using the generic name of the medication. Shipping usually takes about 3 to 4 weeks.
