How to appeal a ban on the Politics subreddit?

Hey mods, any chance you could cut this ban down to just a day?
I totally get it—that astrology comment was out of line for the politics thread, and I promise I won’t bring it up over there again.

It feels like forever already. By the time this is up, it'll have been basically three days, and I actually had some stuff lined up to post on another thread tomorrow.
Really hoping you guys can see where I'm coming from here.

Give me a nudge here tomorrow to remind me about lifting the ban, but seriously, try to steer clear of posting that kind of nonsense moving forward.
