Alright. I knew I’d get banned the second I typed a single letter. And wouldn't you know it? Exactly what I expected.
The only thing I didn't realize was that Magnus Carlsen and Magnus Carlsen were basically the forum gods here. I wasn't even insulting them; I was just pointing out that chess and boxing have zero connection. I guess I should just ask when my ban expires, since I can't see any actual "crime" committed. Honestly, I don't see one at all. But hey, three moderators working together to shut me down because I’m bothering someone? They must be right, right? Even if they haven't given me a single shred of an explanation. Calling me a "troll" isn't a reason unless someone actually tells me what I supposedly "trolled" about??? People keep trying to force this idea on me that I don't know anything about boxing or martial arts, which is total nonsense—I know my stuff when it comes to boxing, MMA, karate, and pretty much everything else. I've studied the history from Bruce Lee all the way through the greats, including Elvis Presley, whom "certain experts" apparently didn't realize was a master of martial arts—a black belt holder, even—until two days ago, instead of just calling him the "King of Rock." Fine—I'm "removed," and I'm sure everyone's life will be just wonderful now. All I tried to do over the last year was make this place a little better and more tolerable while we were all dealing with various tragedies.
A crime. A heinous crime. Call me a villain then. But I'm not even mad; I've seen enough of how people work to know better, and I respect everyone's rights. If I really insulted someone like they claim—let them step up and show me exactly how and when I did it...
Personally, I've been insulted and dragged through the mud like some low-life gutter trash, and I never even breathed a word of complaint. So, go ahead, enjoy yourselves. I wish everyone the best, and I hope we're spared from more tragedies, because I still believe there are decent, honest people left out there. All the best to you all.
And I’d appreciate it if I could at least get a verdict in the name of the people, since I'm completely in the dark here. Thanks.

Robert Fox78, first an apology, then an explanation.

I accidentally hit the wrong button and banned you for insulting users, which was my mistake. I’ve already cleared it up with the admin, so the strike is wiped from your record and won't show up in your stats. Consider my apologies accepted. Just to be clear, the ban wasn't about your posts regarding Magnus Carlsen or Garry Kasparov—it was about your comments in the AJ-Fury thread.
I tried to send you a DM, but it wouldn't go through since you're currently blocked. You’ll be staying suspended for 7 days for the following reason:
For a few weeks now, I’ve been trying to give you some friendly, patient heads-ups to chill out on certain behaviors before they became a permanent issue. If you aren't catching my drift, the problem isn't with the two moderators (and let's not count the third guy, since he barely shows up) or the growing number of users reporting you—it’s you. Look, the world doesn't revolve around you, so don't get ahead of yourself thinking you're more important than you are. This constant need for attention is a huge part of the issue.
As for opinions—even regarding boxing—we don't debate them here. This isn't a panel discussion for Olympic coaches; it's just fans talking, so feel free to share your views and respect others'. That's where you trip up: you constantly push your own agenda and derail threads. For instance, AJ-Fury has absolutely nothing to do with Mike Tyson or Deontay Wilder, yet you keep hammering the same point. What you find hilarious, most people find annoying. Honestly, you aren't helping yourself or the conversation; you're just making a fool of yourself. And no, this isn't some reaction to the last year or anything related to the pandemic; this behavior has been going on way longer.
If you're being honest with yourself, you'll admit I’ve sent you DMs to cool off and given you yellow cards and warnings instead of straight bans. Since you ignored all of that, the nonsense finally piled up to the point where a ban was the only move left.
To be crystal clear: trolling, hijacking threads, and instigating fights are why you're out. You didn't insult anyone, and I won't allow anyone to insult you either—those jabs about your weight and such will always be sanctioned and deleted on my end.
I’m not your enemy, and I have no desire to kick you off the site. Your posts can actually be a breath of fresh air in these gloomy times, and you often drop interesting info, but you have to know when a joke crosses the line into harassment. Take a breather, think about what I've said (again, I mean this in good faith), and come back with a different attitude once the suspension is over.

Good luck,

My bad—I accidentally hit the wrong button and banned you for being abusive toward other users. I went back and cleared it up with the admins, so that strike is gone. It won't show up in your history or mess with your stats. Honestly, just take my apology on that one. Also, just to be clear, the warning wasn't even about your post mentioning Magnus Carlsen and Bobby Fischer; it was actually regarding that thread about Mike Tyson.
I tried to shoot you a DM, but it wouldn't go through because you're hit with a Twitter Ban. And guess what? You’re stuck with it for 7 days for this reason:
Look, I’ve been trying to be nice about this for weeks now. I’ve been patient, I’ve been chill, and I’ve been pointing out exactly what you need to stop doing. If you still don't get it, then honestly? It's on you. Don't go blaming the two moderators—and yeah, let's be real, the third one barely even shows up anyway—or the growing crowd of users on Reddit reporting your posts. And newsflash: the world doesn't revolve around you. Stop acting like you're some kind of VIP. This desperate need for attention? That's pretty much the root of your entire problem.
Look, we aren't even debating tastes or boxing knowledge here—that’s just amateur hour for people who only watch the highlights. This isn't some high-level panel discussion featuring Olympic medalists and world-class trainers, so feel free to have an opinion. Everyone's entitled to one. But that brings us to your actual problem: you won't stop shoving your takes down our throats. You constantly derail the conversation. Like, seriously? Mike Tyson has absolutely nothing to do with Mike Tyson or Deontay Wilder, yet you just keep looping the same tired nonsense. What you think is "funny" is actually just annoying to everyone else. I hate to be the one to tell you this, but you aren't helping yourself or the thread. Honestly, you just end up looking like a clown most of the time. And don't try to blame it on the last year or the pandemic being a mood booster; this behavior has been going on way longer than that.
If we’re being real here, you gotta admit I’ve been sliding into your DMs telling you to chill out. I gave you warnings and yellow cards instead of just hitting you with the red card and a permanent Twitter Ban, but since you decided to ignore every single one of them, things have piled up. It's just too much crap at this point. A ban is the only way to go.
Let’s get the ground rules straight here: trolling, derailment, and stirring up unnecessary drama are exactly why you got hit with a Twitter Ban. You didn't actually insult anyone, and look, I'm not about to let anyone come at you either. Any jabs about your weight or whatever—that kind of stuff gets shut down and deleted by me immediately. Period.
Look, I’m not your enemy here, and I definitely don't want to see you get kicked off Reddit. Honestly, your posts are usually a breath of fresh air when everything else feels so damn bleak—you always drop some interesting facts that actually keep things interesting. But seriously, you gotta learn the line between cracking jokes and straight-up harassment. Take a breather, think about what I'm saying (I'm coming from a good place, really), and maybe try a different vibe once your Twitter Ban is over.

Good luck!

First off, thanks for being honest and admitting you hit the wrong button. I respect that. Seriously, I do. You aren't even my issue—we’ve bumped heads before, but that’s just how it goes. It's totally normal. My real problem is these "report" snitches who act like they own my posts. Why don't they spend less time policing everyone else and actually write their own damn content? I have never, and I mean NEVER, reported or sued anyone on here. I'm the kind of guy who'd rather head down to Walmart, grab some rope, and end it all than act like a narc. Everyone’s entitled to an opinion, so let people write! Who am I to stop them? Anyway, heard some depressing news today. The legendary Leon Spinks passed away. I wrote about him ages ago in that thread about Muhammad Ali. Apparently, he almost died because doctors had to pull a chicken bone out of his windpipe—he couldn't get enough of those wings. Man, the night before his heavyweight title fight against Larry Holmes, his trainer walks in to find him and two buddies passed out drunk, with the whole room trashed with fast food, empty bottles, and drugs everywhere. Classic Leon. But hey, before all that chaos, he actually beat Muhammad Ali after only six pro fights. RIP.
Look, I wasn't trying to be a jerk, push my views, or offend anyone. You can't force someone to believe Deontay Wilder is going to KO Mike Tyson if they just don't feel it. And as for the arguing? That’s what Reddit is for. That’s why we’re even here. Thanks for the lecture, though—honestly, I'm surprised you actually bothered to reply to me. Much appreciated. Honestly, I don't really feel "guilty" or anything; if anything, I'm just feeling pretty low and drained. I don't even have the energy to post anymore, especially after being away for so long. Even my birthday is passing by in total silence. I'd talk politics or whatever, but who cares? I used to be obsessed with the Moon landing stuff, but now? Not even a little bit. Just boxing... but man, I'm getting sliced up like bamboo. Besides, I haven't earned any respect anyway; the second you speak up, people just call you an idiot. That's how it feels. But I haven't hurt anyone, so my conscience is clear.
Shoutout to brisktrucker51 and his crew. Also, shoutout to Luyinduli because he was always chill with me. What else is there to say? Life is just the gap between being born and waiting to die. Good luck to everyone, because if you don't have luck, you've got nothing. Peace.

Robert Fox78, since it's your birthday, we decided to cut your quarantine short. Hopefully, you get the hint so we don't have to resort to more drastic measures. There’s an old saying: fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me. And trust me, I'm no fool. :)

Let me clarify what this self-imposed isolation is actually about—you simply refuse to follow basic rules or warnings, whether it’s in my posts or via direct messages. You constantly mess up thread creation by failing to follow the guidelines from the jump, and then you keep dragging things along in poorly formatted threads. It just makes it look like you're intentionally trolling the Off-topic section within your own discussions. Plus, you keep circling back to the exact same topics across multiple threads; honestly, it's exhausting how persistent you are.
You've been hit with a custom 75-point infraction for repeatedly ignoring subforum rules, which, combined with your previous points, triggered a ban. I’m losing my patience here, and I'm done playing favorites because you're "clueless but entertaining." Your next break will be longer, and if you keep this up, the one after that will likely be a partial ban if the admin team agrees. Consider yourself warned.

You start threads poorly instead of following the guidelines from the jump, and you keep dragging conversations into messy, broken threads. On top of that, you give off this vibe that you're just trolling by posting off-topic stuff in your own threads. You post about the exact same thing in multiple places, and honestly? You're incredibly persistent and exhausting.
You’ve been hit with a custom 75-point infraction for repeatedly ignoring subforum rules, which, combined with your previous points, triggered a ban. I’m losing my patience with you. I’m done playing favorites or applying double standards just because you’re "clueless but entertaining." Your next break is going to be longer, and if you keep this up, the one after that will likely be a partial ban if the admin team agrees. Consider yourself warned.

The only thing I forgot to mention is that I appreciate the birthday wishes—that was nice
of you. I also respect all the effort you put into cleaning up this combat sports thread. And hey, it’s necessary, right? Only a handful of people were even looking at this thing. To keep everyone happy and actually let people talk, someone’s gotta go because they're a nuisance. So, I’ll sacrifice myself for the greater good of this "Combat Sports" thread: I’m calling on the big bosses at the top of this Reddit to hit me with a Twitter Ban from this specific thread if they truly think I’m the problem and that my "insignificance" is why the topic is dying. Once I'm gone, everything will be fixed and the thread will finally thrive. Since I won't be posting anything anyway—mostly because I've racked up penalties like I committed some massive crime in Antarctica—I’m asking the admins to actually take a look at what I’m supposedly breaking or trolling about. If I respond to a post where Mike Tyson or Deontay Wilder is mentioned, I have to mention them too, right? And I always back up my modest posts with a link. Besides, I haven't even opened that many threads. It literally lists who started what... I just stuck to what was current or posted those "evergreen" boxing topics for education—you know, things like George Foreman and the rest of the legends people should actually know about since so many seem clueless. Anyway, I won't ramble. Just give me a life sentence Twitter Ban from this thread. At least leave me alone in the music section; I haven't posted there in ages, so if I get caught, at least let my soul find peace there. Thanks, and wishing everyone the best. @Robert Fox78/">@@Robert Fox78.

I was explaining the previous ban. You got this new one today because of your actual post.

In the MMA thread, you decided to pivot to something that has absolutely nothing to do with fighting (and once again, I guess you felt the need to repeat your tired opinion for the hundredth time). This just added to the pile of nonsense you’ve already been warned about multiple times. Your ban expired and you immediately started acting like Max at a division brawl, sticking to that same old routine of "What did I do now?" and "Who's trolling?". Nobody is forcing you to be here; you’re responsible for your own actions. If you think your special status protects you, you're mistaken—it’s more like being a "protected mascot." Anyone else would have been kicked off the site long ago after dozens of warnings and deleted posts without even getting a formal strike. Right now, you're on a yellow card. One step closer to the permanent ban mentioned in your last warning, where we told you that if you don't shape up after the last ban, the next one will be much longer.
If I were in your shoes, I'd try focusing on the topic at hand, follow the rules for starting new threads, stop repeating yourself, and just keep it chill.
