Why was my post deleted on the Coronavirus PDF forum?

@Morgan Peterson why did they scrub my reply to lazybones1 on that "Vaccination...part 4" thread?

It was just me comparing different countries and asking that guy what he actually thinks about mandatory vaccinations.

Still, you have to wonder why that post about "natural vaccine detoxing" got nuked. Good grief—I had no idea people were even into that.

I haven't been following that specific thread closely, but since his response to you was also scrubbed, isn't it obvious the moderators felt both posts were derailing the conversation into unwanted territory?

Alright, fine. I didn't realize that having a discussion about vaccines and their actual side effects was considered a way of derailing the conversation from the topic at hand.

It isn't likely a matter of what was actually said, but rather how it was presented. That being said, I wasn't the one who deleted anything, so I am merely speculating. 🤔

The issue at hand is that your post essentially serves as a direct link to a Facebook page dedicated to QAnon conspiracies and anti-vax nonsense.
If you truly wish to indulge in such content, you are more than welcome to head over to the Skeptic subreddit, where you can go wild with those kinds of posts.
However, within the main subreddit regarding COVID, specifically under the Data and Statistics megathread, there is absolutely no place for this sort of rhetoric.
And just so we are all clear for the record: consider this your first warning, because any subsequent post of this nature will result in an official strike due to violations of the subreddit rules, which are quite clearly defined.

So, that's the excuse for why my post got nuked? A link to an anti-vax... whatever, how do you even judge that? Is that really a violation of the subreddit rules? First off, Morgan Peterson, the rules say we should provide a link to a source, but they don't specify what kind of source that has to be. Second, deciding what qualifies as a certain type of link is nothing more than a moderator's subjective opinion. Third, even if the link happens to be "anti-vax," that isn't illegal. Fourth, shouldn't the actual content be what matters? Because the content of that link was a clip from official news coverage by one of Germany's most respected TV networks, Sat 1, so it wasn't some shady source or fake news, and it fit perfectly within the Data and Statistics topic. It was about how many people are lying in hospitals with COVID, but not because of COVID, but due to some other medical reason.
