For instance, let's say I have an ISO file for Windows that I want to burn onto a DVD,

1 Make Boot ISO
2 Burn ISO
3 Boot Disc
If I set my computer to boot from the optical drive as the primary device and then restart,
what actually happens if I use a disc created via “Make Boot ISO” versus one made through “Burn ISO” or "Boot Disc"?

Well, it really all depends on how that original ISO you're burning was originally constructed. If the file is already bootable, then I guess you should just stick with the "Burn ISO" option and not bother messing around with those extra bootable settings.
