Could you please provide a link or a quote showing where I expressed any issue with her being a woman? Thanks so much!

As for her citizenship, I think I've already touched on that point in my previous posts.

Kenneth Cruz67 said:It might also be worth mentioning that since the moderator lives abroad, she doesn't quite experience the current social climate or the atmosphere here in the States firsthand, so maybe it wouldn't hurt to have someone local in the role too. I mean, I don't mean anything bad by it toward her! 🤷

I honestly feel like that’s one of the most important considerations when choosing a moderator for the philosophy section.

Kenneth Cruz67 said:I wouldn't know. Someone moderate and easygoing. They don't even strictly have to be on the right—could be neutral or even leaning left—as long as they aren't dug in like a stubborn mule, just enough to keep things balanced. 🤷

It’s also worth noting that the admin doesn't actually live in the States—they aren't feeling the current social climate or the specific era we're living through here in America, at least not firsthand. So, it might make sense to have someone local. No shade intended toward the admin 🤷

I agree. Philosophy is such a complex subject—there's always going to be friction and clashing viewpoints. It would be great to have two moderators, maybe one left-leaning and one right-leaning (not radicals who punish anyone with a different opinion, obviously, just for the sake of balance). We should probably apply this logic to other subreddits too—not all of them, but definitely some.

I’ve been around this forum for three years now, and I haven't even laid eyes on you—well, aside from the occasional trolling, of course.

What kind of communication style is this, anyway?

Good grief, look at what this philosophy forum has devolved into now that these two are constantly breathing down its neck🤦

And what an insightful take... apparently, she frequently has diverse perspectives, oh wow, truly groundbreaking stuff 🙏

And then they claim... a moderator needs to feel like part of some elite circle, as if being a construction worker meant he didn't feel like he belonged either🥱

Honestly, this whole thread just doesn't make any sense on several different levels.
