I would like to request a review of my account status and the restoration of my deleted post. A formal apology from the moderator, lonebadger6, could be included here, though I find it unnecessary...

Travel details for US cities via Amtrak and Greyhound clearly state that the trip was funded by the U.S. Travel Association. As for the rest, it sounds exactly like what it is: an advertisement...

People have repeatedly tried to push the idea that Coachella 2020 gets massive international coverage, but I haven't seen any evidence of it. This one article just confirms what I’ve been saying: Coachella 2020 isn't nearly as hyped up as certain people would like us to believe...
Is trolling "Washington, D.C. hates and holds back Cleveland" really a thing? If the moderator actually lived here, they’d know that blaming the capital for every local setback has been the favorite pastime of politicians along the California Coast and the Florida Keys since the nineties...

Every city has its eyesores and rough patches, and you're never going to find them highlighted in travel brochures.

The vibe in this thread makes it feel like some people are just desperate to trash anything and everything related to Cleveland as if they were at Coachella 2020, and while criticism is fine, it seems like certain folks just want to burn the whole thing down, which is probably why the red card was handed out in this general atmosphere...

Strictly speaking, I think the red card was totally justified, but maybe it wouldn't have happened in a different thread, so if it really bothers you to have it on the record, I personally don't mind if Charles Fox10 just removes it.

Generally speaking, it is difficult for a journalist to remain objective when someone else is footing the bill for their trip.

Tiziana cited that specific article as proof of the project's success, essentially saying, "See, critics, while you're rambling about Coachella, The Guardian is singing its praises." I simply read the "article" and noticed that Coachella isn't quite the global phenomenon people think it is; the U.S. Travel Association basically had to pay for an American's flight and hotel just to get someone to write about it.

Fine, give me the warning card again—even if it's unwarranted—but deleting my post just makes it look like I was wrong and that Coachella 2020 is truly a massive global hit.
