This text was posted under my username—even though I didn't write a single word of it. It’s just more of the blatant misinformation that lonetrucker4 seems to spout constantly. Beyond that, he acts like some sort of self-appointed "anti-moderator"... essentially policing everyone who dares to disagree with his dogmatic nonsense by deleting posts or handing out sanctions whenever he feels like it.
This time, however, he really crossed the line. He actually went so far as to post his idiocy using my own account...
Is this even permitted here?
Will there be any actual consequences for him regarding this?
Since when does he have the right to impersonate me?

Not to mention, the man clearly hasn't spent a single minute studying the history of the American Civil War or the conflicts in Canada...

On top of that, he acts like an unhinged deputy mod—if anything doesn't fit his specific brand of dogma, he either wipes it or hands out a penalty.
He really crossed the line this time. He actually posted his garbage using my username.
Is that even allowed?
Is anyone going to hold him accountable for this?
Where does he get off impersonating me?

Not to mention, he clearly hasn't spent much time studying the history of the American Civil War or the conflicts in Canada.

Honestly, it’s typical for him. He’s turned this entire platform into his own little ideological circus. He probably should check my old posts too; who knows, he might have forged those as well.

Look, I won't argue about whether it's a "lie" or whatever, because honestly, I totally screwed up here. I meant to hit "QUOTE" to reply to your post, but my finger slipped and I hit "EDIT" instead. Didn't even realize I wiped out the original text until it was too late.

If you've got that text saved somewhere, shoot me a DM and I'll stick it back in the thread. If not, just rewrite roughly what you said and drop it as a new post.

lonetrucker4 said:I won't argue over whether it was a "lie," because, frankly, I made a clumsy mistake. I meant to reply to your post, but instead of hitting "QUOTE," I accidentally hit "EDIT"—I didn't even realize what happened until it was too late, and my original text was gone.

If you happen to have that text saved somewhere, just send it to me in a private message and I'll append it to the post. If not, just rewrite roughly what you said and post it again as a new entry.

Even a kid in preschool understands the difference between an "edit" button and a "delete" button... surely someone with your level of literacy can grasp that distinction. Because if things had actually unfolded the way you're trying to claim, you would have edited the text, not wiped mine out entirely. So much for your clumsy attempts at making excuses.

And if you truly believe I’m narcissistic enough to be archiving everything I write here, then you are sorely mistaken—just as you are in so many other matters.

lonetrucker4, try being an objective moderator for once, rather than acting like some "Duspara American Civil War" zealot.
When you make claims—regardless of how much I might disagree with them (and believe me, I know you're wrong)—back them up with solid, reliable sources. Don't just present whatever fits your current narrative, or, as we see here, blatantly delete my words and insert your own lies under my username.

lonetrucker4, the war is over. This anti-war crusade of yours is pointless... there's no sense in trying to sell us this fog of uncertainty now.

One more thing: allowing insults against anyone is a failure of your role. You can despise Franjo Tuđman or Šušak all you want, but if you intend to be objective, you cannot permit personal attacks. An insult is an insult, period. It doesn't matter which side of the political spectrum it comes from. I would never go so far as to call someone like Stjepan Mesić a gutter rat. I won't call Parag a malicious, extremist idiot. Nor will I label Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović as some remnant of a failed regime. That’s why I maintain that calling Franjo Tuđman names like Šupak, Krivousti, or similar slurs shouldn't be tolerated if one wishes to remain objective.
But if you prefer to be a prisoner of your own obsessive frustrations—much like #worm—then insults will simply become your standard mode of communication. A level I refuse to descend to.
And please, don't let a blunder like this happen again. After all, you've been quite condescending with me before, telling me: "You're being warned!"

Honestly, there’s probably no point in bothering with such an arrogant appeal, but just so we're all clear—moderators have a dedicated "quote" button right next to "edit" specifically for their assigned subforums. Everywhere else, they're stuck with the standard "quote" option. Even the best moderators hit the wrong button once in a while...

Look, if you don't buy my explanation, fine. Whatever. I'm not about to go back and forth with you all day. You know the rules of this board, and you definitely know the subforum rules.

It happens to any moderator, really... one wrong click and you've made a mess...

Arrogant? 🤦
Are you actually suggesting that hitting "edit" wipes out an entire post? Or are you implying that you accidentally delete someone else's contribution and then just rewrite it under their username? That sounds a bit much...

I don't believe you. And honestly? You aren't even arguing with me—you're just spinning your wheels against yourself. So, let's keep things civil, shall we?

Look, it’s pretty obvious that a mistake was made here, and the mod is just doing their best to smooth things over and fix it as quickly as they can. If you aren't interested in cooperating, that's totally on you.
