Hey everyone, I’ve got a weird one for you... So, I downloaded about 20 movies and moved them over to an external hard drive so I could watch them on my TV via USB.
On my desktop where I originally grabbed them (running Win7), the sound works perfectly fine.

But here’s the kicker: when I plug it into the TV, about half the movies have zero sound. The audio track shows up in the menu, but nothing actually plays. And get this—it’s doing the exact same thing on my laptop right now (Win10). What gives? Is the TV just missing some audio codecs or something? But if that were the case, why is my laptop acting up too? Anyone have any clue what I should do?

It’s driving me crazy. Movies with AAC audio work just fine, but the second they have DTS sound, everything completely breaks.
