Is flaming allowed now? New forum rules?

The mods here love giving us that classic "oh, we just haven't gotten around to looking at it yet" or "you didn't click the report button hard enough" routine...
Well, newsflash: I’ve smashed that report button three times now. It’s been a full 24 hours since the initial flag, and the mods are still happily letting people toss insults around in the thread without lifting a finger..

Maybe the admins are playing by a different rulebook? Do they even have one?
Or did the site policy undergo some massive overhaul where being a total jerk is suddenly encouraged by the liberal-progressive crowd?
Or maybe under these new guidelines, we "old-school conservatives" are also allowed to be toxic too?
Just trying to figure out how to navigate this mess moving forward.. thanks..

I think you're right; all three of those posts were nothing more than cheap shots at the community. It’s just a mess—too many threads being thrown around and not enough actual people here to keep things civil.
