I always put my energy into what’s right, even if I end up standing entirely alone on that side of the line.

Common sense is there to reassure me that I'm not the one losing my way.

The moment someone tries to argue that it's "normal" to advocate for hitting women, raping children, or wiping out half of humanity just to glorify a single nation or race, I’ll be catapulting myself straight to Mars. Clearly, I wasn't built for life on Earth.

Once again, when you start drifting into topics that have nothing to do with this discussion—or even the ones we're debating—it’s obvious you're just trying to mask your weak arguments. You're being offensive, and frankly, I don't see what you're trying to achieve.

Besides, I remember our first real clash quite clearly. It was over a WNBA thread regarding a woman sharing her trauma after being assaulted by her drunk boyfriend. Your reaction was shocking; you essentially attacked the victim because she wouldn't take responsibility for his intoxication, effectively blaming her for the situation.

So, spare me the lectures on the "greater good" of humanity. People who preach about global welfare while treating those closest to them—even a single shaken soul on a forum—like garbage are hypocrites. It is easy to perform kindness for strangers just to feel virtuous while being callous to people right in front of you.

Try being a decent person to your interlocutors here first. Once you master that, then you can move on to higher levels of discourse. 😉

If reading isn't really your thing, feel free to just look at the images instead.
And like I said before, this isn't about me personally or my own motives. This is about common sense on Reddit and asking one simple question: where do we draw the line?

Maybe you'll manage to find some coherent argument buried somewhere in their posts.

If you still think I'm in the wrong after all this, then honestly, I don't think we can have a productive conversation.

It hasn't even been 24 hours and honestly, you shouldn't even be replying to this thread, but whatever, just to make you happy... Everything was boxed up exactly how it was supposed to be. Thanks for the input.

Unfortunately, slypuma12, you’re just proving my point about how superficial your approach to moderation really is. It seems you're far more concerned with protecting your own ego than anything else.

You haven't done a single thing for me personally. Your job is to serve this community, the users, and common sense.

But clearly, that's a concept you just don't grasp.

Which is exactly what this notice demonstrates:

Dear SarahJo,

You have received an infraction on Reddit.

Reason: cumulative warning for targeting users, insults, and trolling.

-------

This infraction is worth 250 point(s) and may result in restricted access until it expires. Serious infractions will never expire.

Who knows, maybe I was a soldier for Hitler in a past life.

As a layman, though, I’d say this person needs some serious, old-school, masculine discipline.
It’s such a shame there isn't enough common sense on this site to issue a lifetime ban for comments like these. We are talking about statements that glorify the greatest crimes ever committed against humanity, yet here we are, where the only consequence is getting mocked by a moderator for being "hysterical" because they allowed such filth to stay up.

Bravo, moderators! You’ve truly outdone yourselves once again!
Just to clear things up for those worrying more about my status than the actual topic: I wasn't banned when I originally started this thread.

But as it stands now, I am.

Why on earth did Adolf create an account on Reddit?

Don't go banning him—for God's sake, I have so much I need to ask him.

Wait, so she gets hit with a 250 fine just like Sarah Jo, then comes here under a different handle to start an appeal thread and expects a serious debate? Is that actually allowed? 😁

Oh, come on, everyone knows I post under both handles. Even the moderators are in on it.

Besides, it would have been pretty hard to figure that out given my accent anyway.

Edward Perez64 said:Even if Hiccup were to repent, he’d probably end up forgiven for everything bad he did and land straight in paradise, wouldn't he?🤦

I guess that kind of logic only works within a religious worldview?🤔 You commit a massive wrong, say you're sorry, and suddenly everything is wiped clean—but what about the victims? What about their perspective?

As for people who actually idolize criminals, there isn't much we can do about that. At the end of the day, that comes down to an individual's choice and their own personal philosophy toward life.

We also shouldn't forget that Hiccup wasn't the only criminal out there; there were plenty on the winning side too, just as there are people today still glorifying certain villains from the other side.

My take is pretty simple: a crime is a crime, and a victim is a victim. There shouldn't be different sets of criteria based on which side of history someone was standing on.😲

Everyone has the right to love and be loved. But glorifying someone isn't the same thing as loving them. End of Day Quote

But you clearly don't get that.

And you're demonstrating exactly that with this ban:

Absolutely. That's a ban worth at least 500 points. I bet Ball and slypuma12 will be turning in their resignations now. slypuma12's resignation is final.☕

On Reddit, it is strictly forbidden to:
use clone accounts while any of your user profiles are currently banned from the site.

Look, Jamie Bishop29, you just don't get it. You think everyone needs to drop everything the second you file a report, like your version of "truth" is the only one that matters. Of course you got banned on Sarah's page, what did you expect? You think I'm gonna let you talk to people on Reddit like that? Just because you edited your post doesn't mean what you said to Phinkal didn't happen. How would you feel if someone called you an idiot and then "elegantly" edited it thinking they could fly under the radar? I did my job right. If you think I didn't, or that mods should be on call for you 24/7, that's your problem...

Since you want to dig stuff up, here:

SarahJo said:It's hard, I didn't just report the post, I won't stop until you get a permanent ban from the forum!

One more thing. Try actually reading. In bold. Then go back to my comment about the post where you got the warning + the post right above this sentence.

SarahJo said:Dear SarahJo,

You have received an infraction at Reddit.

Reason: group warning for attacking users, insults, trolling

I stand by the warning. For anything else, wait for Nice.

Honestly, I’ve run out of things to say to you all.

My common sense tells me that this debate—just like almost any other—is completely pointless. It’s perfectly clear to me why most rational, articulate people refuse to even start these conversations or speak out publicly on topics regarding where the line between normal and abnormal should be drawn. Why would they bother engaging with people who simply have no desire to think or reflect?

At any rate, I’ll leave you to your convictions. You’ve certainly proven that, in your eyes, it is "normal" to glorify crimes or violence of any kind, while standing up against them is considered "abnormal."

And hey, that is your right. I truly wish you nothing but the best in a world like that.

It was hard to miss, especially given my accent.

That isn't allowed, but clearly making an exception for you wasn't worth the effort. I don't understand why you think you're so special when you're never satisfied anyway.

Don't tell me people like you aren't getting special treatment. It probably goes hand in hand with those Congressional seats reserved by fixed minority quotas. I guess we live in a high democracy.

Why didn't you just ask this in the banned users section, which is howmust every banned user on Reddit handles things?

Go ahead and take this, northernmaker7’s mother—maybe one day it'll actually sink in.

Feel free to lock this thread as far as I'm concerned.

I have absolutely nothing left to say.

It touches on Manjača too, which I remember from my own life.

The question is, why are you allowing yourself—listen closely—to call out a moderator by posting questions under a different handle, instead of just heading over to the banned users' section to ask properly using the account that actually got flagged?

Jealousy? Please. Since you’re such a pillar of morality and principle, go ahead: grab a carrot, brew some coffee, and while we wait for the locksmith to show up—or for me to turn red then grey—tell us exactly how and why you consider yourself so special that you deserve more than the rest of the Reddit crowd.

As a layperson, I’d say you need someone to give you a real hands-on evaluation—you know, the medical kind, from a man's perspective.

And you're giving her 250 points for hate speech and a direct call for violence?🤦 If I had posted something like that, I would've been hit with a permanent ban and ended up in a holding cell. You're making a joke out of being a moderator.

There are all these conspiracy theories floating around claiming the Holocaust never actually happened—that those six million Jews didn't perish, but were simply relocated elsewhere... they try to explain away the photos of mass graves by blaming typhus outbreaks in the labor camps or food shortages caused by Allied bombing raids... some even argue that the crematoria capacities at the time weren't physically capable of incinerating bodies on such a massive scale.... and then they point to witness testimonies that supposedly contradict one another...

Since the topic is so pressing, we should probably just let Jamie Bishop29/SarahJo bend the rules; the urgency clearly demands it. And since there’s inevitably someone out there being assaulted, suffocated, or starving, I’m sure she’ll address all of that simultaneously and thoroughly, forcing humanity to finally pay attention.

Germany just issued a global apology.

Does an apology from Brian Howard2 mean absolutely nothing to you?
