Sorry if this topic already exists—I couldn't find it.
My white blood cell count was 10.3 back in July. Two weeks ago it was 10, which is fine (some other values are hovering near the upper limit), and today it’s back at 10.3.
I had a breast biopsy two weeks ago—everything came back clean.
I haven't been sick or dealing with even a sniffle since May.
Back in April, I had a procedure to remove CIN II—I have HPV. I have a follow-up coming up soon.
Does anyone have experience with this, or maybe know why my WBC might stay slightly elevated for this long? What could it actually mean?
My doctor wants me to come in tomorrow to talk about it. It's not that anything bad has been said yet, but this waiting... it's driving me absolutely insane.

Honestly, I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for them to say anything useful.
I mean, could it be something like a vaginal infection? Or maybe some HPV flare-up?

I don't know, but you should probably get your teeth checked regardless. Besides dental stuff, it could be a UTI or something. It’s only slightly elevated, but yeah, just check those two things to be safe.

Yeah, just a little bit—but it's been about a month now. My lymph nodes under my armpits were reactive, though the left one seems fine again (at least as of yesterday). The doctor is still keeping an eye on the right one, but she says since it's movable, it's probably nothing

Got my referral for the hematologist, though my doctor thinks my white blood cell count might just be spiked from the meds I’m on—I've been on Lexapro for over a year, plus Misart and Emanera for about two months now. My liver tests were totally fine back when I checked last month, though.
I'm also dealing with some weird discharge and occasional spotting down there again. My OB-GYN basically brushed me off when I asked for an ultrasound, swabs, or a Pap, so I'm just heading to a private clinic on September 5th for a colposcopy and a Pap smear. I'm wondering if anything going on there could actually be causing those high white cells? My CRP is normal... I am a smoker, but I haven't really had issues with high white counts before, unless I was coming down with a virus.

Copying this here: "Leukocytosis is a remarkably common occurrence—usually surfacing as a byproduct of things like bacterial or viral infections, allergic reactions, or even certain types of tumors. It can also be triggered by various medications (for instance, corticosteroids or beta-adrenergic agonists), as well as stress—emotional or otherwise—physical exertion, or intense manual labor."

No infections, nothing with allergies, and thank God—no tumors. I’ve got stress, sure, and maybe too much physical work, plus yeah... I smoke. Meds? Taking some Xanax, Ativan, and maybe some Prozac... honestly, I'm done Googling this stuff. It makes me sick. I've been dealing with this endless cycle of garbage since February.
