Mod Joe4 (and his buddies) can't spot a troll if it hits them in the face

I haven't been hanging around here much lately. I lost interest after hearing the same old canned excuses about "differences of opinion."

Where exactly is the difference of opinion here?
The second someone starts throwing fake numbers around, we're talking about straight-up disinformation and blatant trolling.
To the staff: I’d like an official explanation as to why this obvious lie and trolling hasn't been sanctioned yet?

I filed my report properly and waited for the deadline to pass, all while the moderator was busy messing with other posts. Fine, people trolled him back and mocked him, but his original trolling is still sitting there. He had every chance to explain himself or back up those claims with actual facts, but instead, he just kept going:

Then there's the attempt to talk down to me personally—acting all high and mighty, lecturing me instead of presenting actual arguments or facts. And you guys just let that slide without any penalty, even though it was reported too.
I didn't stoop to his level, even though it's painfully obvious that malizeleni is just dreaming if he thinks he'll ever get those exclusive presentations he's bragging about.

And let's not forget we're dealing with a user who got a permanent ban and then got "pardoned" with a blessing and a statement that is just WRONG

I'm not buying fadedlynx6's excuse that this is just a "difference of opinion." It's not the first time this has happened, and while I let it slide before, I won't anymore. Someone needs to teach this moderator the difference between a debate and pure trolling, because this kind of behavior shouldn't be allowed.

The rest of us don't see any trolling here, just differing perspectives... something I've already pointed out to you multiple times, both here and in private messages.
This forum exists specifically for people to exchange ideas. By your logic, he could report you for trolling just because you disagree.

And on top of all that, I've already told you: you aren't quoting the posts you report or actually engaging with them. If a post earns a ban, it applies to both parties involved.

Since we've gone over this issue several times already—in the threads and via DM—I have no intention of constantly repeating myself.

The animosity between you two is obvious. My advice? Just put him on your ignore list. It’ll make things easier for you and everyone else. That’s exactly why the ignore button exists.😉

He has served his "punishment," but if you keep pushing this, you'll be the one facing a partial ban from the automotive section. Clearly, the two of you can't coexist on this platform.

Yeah, those links are dead, but I think I see what’s going on here, and I’m on the same page as Joseph. If you can actually produce some proof that shows otherwise, then I'll be the first one to step up and issue a warning.

THIS isn't "expressing an opinion," it's straight-up trolling and lying. If he wanted to express an opinion—saying he feels a car lacks power, for example—he has every right to do that. But this nonsense and throwing random numbers around? That's trolling, plain and simple.

I guess the guy in question needs to provide the evidence for these claims/trolling in his own post, rather than me or 90% of the rest of the world.

A moderator post and a warning, clear as day, everyone follows the rules... until your colleague shows up and starts "hitting" things. Look at that, another strike against the plastic section again. 🤦

Everything has already been explained to you. You were issued a warning before the midterm exams last September, and now the choice is yours: will you keep ignoring moderator warnings and the explanations regarding what constitutes trolling versus engaging in conflict with the staff, or will you just discuss the topic like any other regular user on this forum?

Your credits are gone and you have no more warnings left, so decide your own fate on the automotive forums.

I’m calling for someone higher up the food chain to step in here. I need a ruling on who actually understands the rules regarding trolling and who’s just getting it wrong.

It’s been two days and my request is still just sitting there. Can someone above fadedlynx6 please explain what trolling actually looks like? I honestly think the moderator is right here, but instead of fixing this, everyone is just staying silent... which says everything. I’m not going to sit here and take being bullied or handed warnings while other users on this sub get short bans ten times over (Azure), or deal with clones of banned accounts (Caeruleus)—they clearly haven't faced any "final" warnings. How can that guy even talk to us after all the nonsense and bullshit he's pulled???
I want an explanation for that case too, if possible.
