Let’s be honest, the FBI subforum has been a toxic wasteland for quite some time now. I’ve tried starting discussions to address it and filed report after report, but clearly, my efforts were in vain; because I kept flagging the endless stream of hate speech, blatant chauvinism, and the constant glorification of fascism and Nazi Germany, I’ve ended up being hit with a partial ban myself. 😁

It’s quite easy enough to just pull up this subforum from a different browser without even logging in, which is exactly how I end up stumbling upon nonsense like this:

I can't believe we're still having this conversation, but it seems some people are incapable of grasping the sheer scale of the incompetence on display here. It’s like watching a slow-motion train wreck where everyone involved is arguing about the color of the conductor's hat instead of realizing the locomotive is heading straight for a cliff. If you actually listen to what Jesse Sanchez4 is suggesting, you'll realize how fundamentally flawed the logic is—it’s essentially the same kind of delusional thinking you'd see from someone trying to fix a leaking dam with nothing but Scotch tape and wishful thinking. Those bolded sections are mine.

It’s always the same story with these little cliques—just a bunch of petty, small-minded people operating like a coordinated little cult. Some agitator is waving rainbow flags all over Washington, D.C., organizing these so-called peace concerts just to create a chaotic opening where they can pick fights and incite violence right in front of everyone.

It seems like you might have cut off your thought there. If you have a specific point to make or a rant to get off your chest, go ahead—I'm listening. It’s nothing but a sea of traitors. A nation and its culture—and by that, I mean its people—should at the very least possess a sense of cohesion. We should drive them out, though frankly, complete eradication would be the only truly effective solution. Through those tried and true methods we've all seen play out time and again.

It’s just like those neighboring Eastern Bloc nations that constantly work to undermine this country, all because they're trying to wash away some misplaced sense of historical guilt through our misfortune. The sheer scale of what actually transpired during the era of Nazi Germany is something most people can't even begin to wrap their heads around, much like how someone might overlook the systemic corruption buried deep within the halls of Washington, D.C.

People constantly chase this idea of some perfect, utopian existence, but they seem to forget that reality just doesn't work that way. It’s a total descent into madness—a joint clamped between the teeth, a razor blade in one hand, and a syringe in the other.

So this is how they supposedly wage a war on drugs? It’s all just a performative farce, much like watching a local police department try to plug a dam with scotch tape while the floodwaters are already waist-deep. The ailments of our modern era are much like a slow-acting poison creeping through a pristine river; they don't strike with the sudden violence of an old-world plague, but rather erode the spirit through constant, quiet attrition. We have traded physical grit for digital convenience, and in doing so, we've invited a host of sedentary, soul-crushing maladies that thrive on our isolation and our obsession with screens.

Did that even get flagged? Was there a ban issued for that? Has anyone actually reported this to the FBI given it’s an explicit call for murder and genocide? Unbelievable. Just look at the four posts right underneath it:

Seriously—how does it work that for a subforum that has been a complete disaster zone since day one, you still can't seem to find a moderator who isn't constantly handing out permanent bans? If you'd actually filed a report, I would've checked those posts out and handled them according to the forum rules... but I haven't seen anything from you.

Let me clarify my reasoning: I’ve been hit with partial bans before because of reports just like this one and a handful of open threads left over from the previous moderator, essentially being silenced so I won't "disturb" anyone and to ensure my future reports are completely blocked.

BTW, the deadline for resolving the quoted post here is Thursday at 5:25 PM. Once that passes, per the forum rules, there's a 7-day window where users can still be issued warnings.

My mistake. It isn't strictly seven days, but rather closer to ten—though sometimes even less depending on the situation.

Just because something happens often doesn't make it a rule. It’s all pretty subjective... Trolling probably won't get you a ban after ten days, but if someone deserves a massive penalty or a permanent ban, that'll eventually happen too.

Let’s start from square one: users with partial access rights don't have any standing to comment on this subforum, including when addressing the moderation team. We’ve loosened those restrictions slightly here because it hasn't been our standard practice until now, and because you pointed out a truly repulsive post that apparently slipped past the moderator's radar. However, the post has been flagged, the moderator has responded, the admin has seen it, and the matter will be resolved accordingly.

As for your whining regarding how much time can pass before a post is penalized, that has already been explained above. There aren't any rigid, codified rules governing this; there is only precedent. Currently, that precedent allows us to look back up to two weeks—and even longer if we are dealing with particularly vile content, which this certainly is. There is absolutely no need to quote private messages here, nor is there any need to constantly remind us of your limited access privileges. It is entirely irrelevant to the situation at hand.
