What's going on?

I was just vacuuming out my keyboard and giving the GPU and CPU a bit of air when suddenly... it restarts itself.

Constant beeping usually points to either the GPU or the RAM—I guess. Try pulling the memory sticks out of their slots, maybe blow out some dust if things got messy during cleaning, and then seat them back in. You should probably pull the graphics card out and reseat that too.

I gave it a good couple of solid whacks, and then it just restarts and kicks back to life...

The old school way still works if you know what you're doing 🤣

Just don't go banging on it while it's running. That probably won't end well for the hard drive, or anything else inside the case, I guess.

Haha, everything's running smoothly except for the firewall... if I can just get that fixed...

My advice? Maybe open up the PC and reseat all the components—it sounds like a loose connection issue. Or, I don't know, just hit it harder next time. Whatever works for you. 👍.

I suspect the graphics card is the culprit here, since it used to make those little beep-beep sounds, but now everything is just sitting at 5🙂
