A question...
I've always been a fruit lover, but over the last decade, I’ve let it slide. It’s practically non-existent in my diet now.
However, when I do indulge—like two weeks ago, when I polished off a pound of cherries thinking it would boost my longevity—the result is always the same. Every single time I eat a significant amount of fruit, I end up running a fever and feeling under the weather for about two days.
My question is this: Is it possible my immune system lacks the strength to launch a "war" against bacteria or viruses under normal circumstances, only finding the resources to fight back once I provide it with a sudden influx of vitamins through fruit?
Thanks, everyone.
