Lewis Hamilton is absolutely flying in that Mercedes, clocking the fastest time of the day, but honestly, the Ferrari guys were looking seriously strong, especially when you look at their race pace.
That's basically the verdict after the first day of free practice at the Malaysian Grand Prix

This weekend we've got Force India running on Nissan rubber, then it'll be Lotus, followed by Sauber, then Toro Rosso... eventually Mercedes will show up too, I guess.

Does anyone know when qualifying starts and when the race kicks off once they switch the clocks forward for Daylight Saving Time?

Qualifying is at 10:00 AM, and the race kicks off at 8:00 AM.
