Issues with my Canon Pixma

So, I’ve been using my Canon Pixma for almost five years now—and honestly, it’s been such a reliable little workhorse until recently... Everything was working perfectly fine, but then out of nowhere, the black ink just stopped printing, even though the cartridge is brand new. About ten days ago, it was printing black beautifully, and now? Nothing. I’ve already tried cleaning the print heads manually and ran the software cleaning cycles from my computer, but no luck so far—still nothing... I’ve always stuck strictly to genuine ink, so I really don't think that's the issue here. If anyone has any ideas on what else I could try to get this fixed... 🙏

Honestly, without seeing it in person, there isn't much I can say for sure.

It's either fried heating elements or the pre-filter on the head is clogged.

Usually, you see stuff like this when people use those cheap third-party cartridges that start leaking ink all over the
nozzles.

I’m running into the exact same headache here. I just popped in some genuine ink cartridges a couple of days ago, and they worked perfectly right out of the gate—but now, the printer won't even attempt to fire up. Does anyone have a clue what might be going on?
