Looks like it’ll be a decent prelude, I’m just a little nervous about those cameras. But honestly, if they put this in 4D, it’d definitely be worth dropping some cash on!🍿

I just caught the trailer today and man, it was absolutely wild. That first-person perspective is such a trip—totally plays into those classic FPS vibes we all love. It’s actually a Russian production, by the way.

In the US, they're looking at an April 14, 2016 release date.

A VR headset would be the perfect way to experience this movie.

Why would anyone sit through movies like that? I’d much rather just play >. I don't get it. When I watch a movie, I want a story to follow, not to be shoved into the middle of one. And I certainly don't want some glorified > flick. If that's what I wanted, I'd just fire up > or whatever other great game I feel like playing. That's not cinema.

It's better to actually play an > than to watch one. It's like watching a friend run through > levels.

It feels like this was put together by the same crew behind this video. 🙂

The movie might actually be worth checking out... though I suppose some people might end up feeling pretty dizzy or nauseous.
...especially if it were in 3D. 😁😁😁

I'm a big fan of Meta. Only ever had issues with those cartoonish rollercoasters. Everything else like 3D or 4D is totally fine with me.

I suspect watching a movie like that is fun for the first ten or fifteen minutes, but after that, it just becomes exhausting.
The handheld camera work is distracting. All that frantic tilting and panning while he gestures "yes" and "no" just feels messy.

Not even Ty Roth could drag me out of the house to go see that.

This movie is seriously, seriously fun.

Great humor, great action—just grab some huge popcorn and enjoy.

It touches on some cool sci-fi concepts too, though they definitely take a backseat to the pure adrenaline.

Sharlto Copley is fantastic. He had me laughing constantly.

I love how there are little breaks in the action right when things start feeling intense, just to let you catch your breath.

Not much left to say, just go watch it.

Just a heads up, if you can't stand shaky cam, skip this one because there's a ton of it.

I absolutely love shooting games from a first-person perspective when I'm gaming, so I'm totally down to see a movie done in that style.

This movie is pure, unadulterated fun! For me, it’s basically Dredd in 3D for 2016. You go in with modest expectations and end up getting hit with a hardcore action flick that breaks every rule in the book. It's unlike anything else out there and damn entertaining!

I don't think it'll hit the same on a small screen.

Watching this was pure torture. I wasn't expecting some genius screenplay or a deep story—I just wanted solid action—but even that fell flat. It’s decent for the first 20 or 30 minutes until that scene in the cockpit, but after that, it just gets tedious, boring, and repetitive. Honestly, I was just counting down the minutes until it ended.
This is a movie for non-gamers, or people who don't have time to deal with that kind of "nonsense" and just want an hour of mindless fun. Anyone who has played even two FPS games in their life, especially modern ones, is going to be totally unimpressed.

Major props to the crew for filming the whole thing in first-person; I respect the hustle, but the movie itself is just garbage.

Even Sharlto Copley, who I usually dig, was getting on my last nerve once his second clone showed up. I could see exactly where it was heading, and it just got more exhausting. I couldn't wait for everyone to just die already. 😁

Speaking of humor, I'm a fan of parody and over-the-top stuff, which is what this should have been, but I honestly can't remember a single funny scene. 🤷

For the entire runtime, I felt like I was watching Bruce Lee on steroids, specifically the villain 🙏. That's the vibe—just a bigger budget and a first-person camera version of Trashin squared. 🤣

If you're dying of curiosity, go ahead and watch it, but I'd much rather recommend Bruce Lee or THIS five-minute video that I'm pretty sure inspired the film. Save yourself the ninety minutes of misery.

Only because of the effort put in by the crew and the stunt team.

I had a completely different take on this. The fight choreography keeps evolving, and the madness just ramps up. Sharlto Copley was phenomenal—he really broke away from his usual typecasting here. There were plenty of laughs, though most of them were born out of sheer violence. In fact, there was so much carnage that some of the scenes actually became hilarious (like that dog dragging its owner’s severed hand...)

Just finished watching it.
Personally, I found it pretty entertaining.
The camerawork and the special effects were really well done.
Though toward the end, it starts feeling a bit like you're playing Serious being all 😁 😁
All in all, it’s a solid flick if you just want to unwind and experience a movie from a different perspective.

You seriously need to watch Abandoned—it’ll absolutely blow your mind.
