Congrats to Nico Rosberg, though I have to say, Ferrari basically handed him first or at least second place on a silver platter by picking the wrong tires.
The only real silver lining is that he’s managed to keep the gap to Mercedes-Benz relatively small.

Haas!
They handled that pretty well, honestly.
The STR at the end was a bit of a letdown, though.
But look, they basically just screwed themselves over.
Still, there are 3 or 4 other teams on the grid that could take them.

What an absolute embarrassment for McLaren. A rookie driving for Haas manages to secure 6th place in their very first race...
And yet, where are they? Nowhere to be seen...

It seems Ferrari is following their usual tactical playbook once again...🙂
Don't they simply need another strategist on the team to get things right? 🙂

Haas
👋
Felipe Massa still managed to snag fifth, I guess
👍
it probably would've been even better if Jevon Palmer had actually grabbed a point instead of that pathetic showing from Max Verstappen...

Perhaps Lewis Hamilton should head back to one of those fashion shows... 🙂
Maybe while he’s there, he could finally learn how to properly release a clutch. 🙂

We’re all just fools, really. We sit here, obsessively watching, getting worked up over every little thing. Meanwhile, they're just raking in the cash, whether they finish first, second, or third.

Nothing at all! Honestly, I've been following her since the days of the Sparrows and mosquitoes.

Massimo Haas still managed to finish fifth, didn't he?
👍
If only Palmer had secured a single point instead of that lackluster performance from Verstappen...
Could we really blame anyone when the pit stop completely ruined Verstappen's race? It felt as though they simply forgot to bring out the tires, almost as if someone there couldn't count to four...
Had they executed that pit stop with any degree of competence, wouldn't we have seen a rapid Sainz overtaking Palmer within half a lap, and perhaps even finding a way past Bottas shortly after?
But in the end, they barely scraped together a solitary point, didn't they?

That’s not really the point. We're talking about teams with massive budgets and entire departments dedicated to data, yet when I watch the strategy calls coming out of Ferrari, I honestly just want to facepalm. Most of us hanging out on this forum would have called a much smarter play—switching to Medium tires to undercut the Mercedes-Benz strategy. Even if they were slightly slower on the Mediums, you'd still have to pass them on track first to make it count.

Decent race.
It was actually pretty good watching Ferrari get a shot at this.
Even with the loss, it felt alright. Unexpectedly so.

I mean, honestly, maybe it's just my take, but I think Fernando Alonso might actually be the most overrated driver to ever step foot in Formula 1.

Once again, we get a political lecture from Nica, though I have to admit, Seb delivered a pretty solid joke. 🙂

Man, Ferrari is really dropping the ball here. If Hamilton wasn't able to pull off that soft tire strategy on those exact same compounds, I bet you anything Rosberg wouldn't have stood a chance on the mediums. Track position is everything at this level—these front wing designs are so insanely complex that if you lose just half a second, the whole car loses its aero grip instantly... Meanwhile, Max is pushing it dangerously hard.
