My husband had a really rough time this past summer—he works a heavy physical job,
He basically collapsed with these symptoms: dizzy spells, looking pale as a ghost, cold sweats... I mean, his shorts and t-shirt were literally soaked through.
Sadly, we didn't end up calling 911 at the time.
He only just mentioned the whole thing to his doctor, who sent him off for an EKG and some blood work.
The EKG came back fine, but his bloodwork showed high triglycerides and cholesterol, plus some borderline hormone levels that suggest his thyroid might be sluggish...
I'm trying to figure out if those were just signs of total exhaustion or something more serious?
Does he need to go in for any other tests?
