People I've decided to stop giving energy to

I'm hoping this is the right place to ask a question like this.
I searched around and figured this was my best bet.
If I've stepped out of line, my apologies.
I'm aware that I can't see posts from users I've ignored.
But do they still see mine?

Just a thought: if I’m ignoring someone, does that mean they’re automatically ignoring me too?

Or more specifically: can I actually control how much I see from certain users on this forum who just aren't really my vibe?

I’m not sure if any of you have ever given this much thought...
But on certain American message boards, you can't even peek at someone's profile or send a DM until you've hit a specific post count.
Perhaps implementing a rule like that would actually be an improvement.
