How is privacy handled on this forum?

I’m curious about how the owners handle user privacy here. For instance—I can't seem to find any rule stating that admins or mods aren't allowed to snoop through private messages. Have they ever actually read someone's PMs without permission? If they have, what was the reasoning behind it? 😁

Of course they're reading them. I mean, that's literally their job, right? 😁

Why would that even be their business? They aren't the police or the FBI. 😁

Does anyone know what the law actually says about privacy rights regarding media outlets like this? All I could find was this:

Anyone who opens someone else's mail, package, telegram, email, or any other form of correspondence without authorization—or otherwise violates its privacy, or unlawfully retains, conceals, destroys, or hands over someone else's closed mail, package, telegram, email, or any other means of communication—shall be punished by imprisonment for up to one year.

Is that even our law?

Hmmmm... I’ve actually got a follow-up question here: Is there even a way to set it up so people checking out my profile can't see what I'm currently doing right now? 😁 Once we get an answer to that, we'll basically have the solution to both questions at once.

Just toggle on 'invisible mode' in the settings. Though, let's stay focused—this isn't some broad debate about privacy.

To answer the question being asked here: Privacy is freaking awesome. 😁 😛

1. Mods and super mods don't have access to your private messages

2. Now, admins in theory (if they really put their minds to it and waste enough of their lives) can see them, just like on any other forum on the internet

3. But the likelihood of that actually happening is exactly zero, much like on any reputable site out there, though whether you should be losing sleep over it is a different story altogether 🙂

I honestly don't know what's going on, but it feels like the admins on this forum have completely lost the ability to actually read the posts! I'm an admin myself, and even I can't get them to load properly. It's beyond frustrating. 😁
So, here's how it works: when a user hits that report button, the content of their message gets sent straight to the admin team's inbox. Honestly, those reported messages are pretty much the only ones we actually sit down and read through.

Can't you see the icon (trokutić sos uskLJičnik 😁) in the message? It's the exact same one you see in the bottom left corner of the post, right next to the eye doctor icon. 🙂

I'm not seeing any triangle there. Does it matter that I sent myself a test message? If not, then it's probably just my mobile browser acting up again. Not exactly a first for me. 😁

trokutić is positioned at the very top of the message, aligned with the header but tucked away on the far right side.

Forget the triangle. Honestly, I couldn't care less about that—I’d much rather get some actual answers regarding the server and the admins. 😁

Everyone does it. Just standard procedure to keep the forums secure and stuff.
