Sorry about that—I think I got the wrong idea about where you were going with this, especially seeing which posts you're choosing to agree with here.

What is there even to say about Vori, considering how dirty his play has become lately? 😕

Man, I think Vori was just trying to give him a little pat on the head, but his finger got caught in that one stray lock of hair... remember how he absolutely crushed that guy from Brazil the other day?

dustypanther6 said:Keep in mind that all those missed shots by Karačić only happened because he somehow managed to get through one-on-one at the perimeter—either right as he raised his hand or just after—all while Kopljar was busy stalling the ball flow with those ridiculous feints and dropping it to the floor for the umpteenth time. If it weren't for him, those misses would have turned into fast breaks for Poland 22:24. In my opinion, the kid is the only one out there playing with any real grit, so credit where it's due. Blaming him seems pretty unreasonable to me.

Besides, the guy has an incredible crossover and makes great passes to the big men. 🙏 🙏

Those misses were from six meters, solo, and completely uncontested. If it were just one shot, fine—sure, anyone can miss. I agree with the rest of the post.

We should have made it to the quarterfinals (even if we had to face global handball heavyweights like Austria and Iran🤣), yet he claims our offense just lacked "killer instinct"... and all that nonsense...

Anyway, whether he’s on the bench or the bench is empty, the result would've been exactly the same...

A higher power😂 means I didn't just imagine it; the guy was actually praying near the end... clearly, that's just how God wanted it to go.

I can't help but feel like the players aren't quite where they need to be—physically, tactically, or mentally—and if we don't get things sorted, those Germans are going to absolutely steamroll us...

''Vori to home!!'' 🤣 🤣

To me, Kopljar is the only handball player on the planet who can drop five goals in a game while leaving the impression of being the absolute worst player out there... I mean, the guy does everything on the court, but—honestly, *everything*—he does it all wrong... Aside from jumping for shots and scoring a few goals, he contributes nothing else! No drawing defenders, no cross-court passes, no feeding the pivots, no finding the wings—what an anti-handballer 👎

You could put a 6'11" stationary tree on the court and it would produce the exact same results as him—God help us 🙂

Winning against Germany isn't even the goal here; let's just focus on the game against the Canadians.☕

He didn't do it on purpose. He just lost his footing and lost track of everything. People need to show the full clip instead of just this edited snippet.

Henry Cox78 said:It wasn't intentional at all. He just fell and lost sight of the player for a second... they really ought to release the full footage instead of showing this clipped version where you can't see the whole context.

I disagree, I think it was deliberate; I distinctly remember seeing the slow-motion replay from the game, and it looks like he was definitely retaliating, though honestly, Vori has been an absolute disaster throughout this tournament, struggling to find any rhythm or score even the easiest shots, which just makes you realize how much we could use someone like Renato Sulić right now... our offensive line feels completely stagnant, and it’s clear that Balić and Lacković really should have been playing more aggressively on the attack side...

Of course Goluža gets the blame when his "expert" coaching advice is basically just, "Hey guys, try grabbing the ball and putting it in the net"🤣 😵

I get it, I'm just saying if he hadn't even stepped up to take the shot because he was playing it safe like everyone else, we'd be in the exact same spot.

We're playing handball like a bunch of kids playing streetball—no real plays, just relying on raw talent. That kind of thing doesn't cut it in professional sports anymore.

So, Goble is claiming we knew exactly where we stood before the tournament started. Can anyone actually dig up what "situation" he’s talking about? What does that even mean? Honestly, he's such an idiot, I kind of want to chuck my remote at him from the stands 👍

It's just pure fluff. It’s always the same stuff—we have a certain temperament, you know how we are, we just had bad luck, hats off to us anyway, we'll be better next time, look at our rising stars, blah blah blah. It’s all nonsense. Seriously, no matter what sport you try to watch, you always run into those same types of guys who act tough, but their IQ is basically zero. They actually have the nerve to tell me that my critical thinking is somehow being rude 🙏 🙏

I'm honestly thinking about just quitting sports altogether. It’s getting pretty gross

It’s all just empty rhetoric. You know how it goes—temperamental excuses, bad luck, "we'll be better next time," "look at our young talent," blah blah blah. It’s the same old garbage. Honestly, no matter what sport you watch, you always run into those loudmouths with the IQ of a pebble, acting like my critical thinking is somehow an insult to them. 🙏 🙏

I’m seriously considering giving up on sports entirely. It’s exhausting.

You’re dreaming... so now Goble claims the coach will face consequences but won't actually be fired? What is he going to do, take a 10% pay cut?

It’s predictable. Every time the Republican Party aligns itself with their cronies and yes-men to lead a coalition, the sport inevitably starts to rot. A downward spiral is practically guaranteed.
First it was football, and now handball is next on the list...

The Republican Party is what built him up (Lino Červar). ☕
