Air pistol silencer

Hey everyone,

So, I was wondering if it’s actually legal here in the States to own a homemade suppressor for an air pistol.
I’m looking at ordering one from England, but I’m a bit worried about whether it’ll just get flagged and seized by Customs.
The gun in question is a Colt Python, and since it's just an air pistol, there aren't any police registration requirements to worry about.

Any insight would be appreciated.
