There were quite a few of us there. When you take a look at the crowd that showed up at Yankee Stadium—those who actually made it past the security checkpoints—you’re looking at a truly top-tier group of people. Honestly, some of the things being written here are just utter nonsense.

Nah, it isn't. The group is basically on life support.

The worst part is how people miss the sheer potential Real Madrid has.
As for the supporters—don't even get me started under different circumstances. It's a shame.

This whole thing is starting to feel like some classic propaganda tactic. They’re trying to count everyone—those who showed up, those who didn't, the banned ones, the ones on the watchlist, the people living halfway across the country, the folks who just couldn't stomach stepping foot back into Yankee Stadium, or even those who walked away from the sport entirely after the war ended. It’s all just noise.++++
The stadium was actually packed, wasn't it?

People really need to wake up and stop lying to themselves. And honestly, that famous futsal match? It’ll probably dwindle down to a crowd of maybe 300 people pretty soon... mostly because the arena is way too far out in the sticks. But sure, let's pretend that isn't the reason.

It’s just a list of excuses: the people who showed up, the ones who didn't, the ones banned, the ones on blacklists, those who couldn't make it, those living too far away, those working, those who can't stand stepping foot in Yankee Stadium anymore, the ones who supported the opposition, and the ones who quit after the war.++++
Let's be real, the stadium was packed, wasn't it?

Seriously, wake up and stop lying to yourselves. And don't get me started on that famous futsal match—it'll probably fizzle out with barely 300 people watching... mostly because the arena is way too far away, hahaha! Oh yeah, obviously because of that

👏👏 Nature can be pretty cruel sometimes, can't it? 👏 I bet the next home game will only draw about 30 people... 👏 👏 Looks like you lost your seat in the stands today, didn't you?😁 👏👏

Nathan Kelly5 said:Honestly, who is even pretending here? We are exactly who we are, so quit acting like some bitter old lady constantly complaining about everything. There were a thousand of us once, sure, but if they had just sold tickets to everyone instead of locking people out, or if we hadn't lost hundreds of fans because the atmosphere at Yankee Stadium turned sour, we might have been three or four people left. I’d love to say there are eighty thousand of us out there, but let's be real—that's not happening. We are just the group that's left, and even then, our numbers are five times larger than what

The guy above me put it perfectly, though. Every time I get close to Yankee Stadium, my first instinct is to throw up because of how much I've grown to loathe the whole scene. Then, the second I walk out of those gates, I fall into this mini-depression because of how much the whole thing drains me. But look, we've weathered every storm so far, and we'll weather this one too. We keep moving forward.

I laid it out clearly regarding how many of us actually showed up at the stadium, and that's the bottom line. Nobody ever mentions the list, so why bother mentioning anything when I can't even get into the damn stadium? And then you have these certain individuals claiming that old faces are making a comeback, which is just flat-out untrue. Nobody is coming back, and nobody wants to return (I'll say it again: nobody). We have exactly as many people as we have, and there is no point in lying to ourselves about it...

It’s always the same old story. At the end of the day, we are who we are, and that’s that. My whole group has basically fallen apart; people aren't showing up anymore for all sorts of different reasons, and honestly, what can you even do about it? I’m not going to go around begging anyone to join in if they don't want to. Everyone knows what's best for themselves, right?

Christian Miller48 said:I clearly stated how many of us showed up at the stadium, and that's the end of it. Nobody mentions the blacklist, so why bother when I can't even get into the damn stadium? Then you have certain individuals claiming old faces are returning, which is simply untrue. No one is coming back and won't come back (to repeat myself). You have the numbers we have, and there's no point in deluding ourselves...

What kind of "returning" are you talking about? There were maybe 2,000 of us around Yankee Stadium today. If this were a normal situation, we might have seen 3,000 or 4,000, and that would be it. How many people do you want? Millions? We've never even had that many. Once we start seeing 10,000 to 15,000 people per match, then maybe the lower stands will fill up. But that won't happen until the club regains some semblance of its former self—or in plain English, until the management stops screwing us over and people actually want to show up for the football again. Nowadays, people aren't going to the stadium to cheer; they're going to protest.

Besides, look at the crowd around you. 90% of the people are older; probably more than half the stands are 30+. You won't find an atmosphere like this on any other supporter section in Europe. And think about who is actually missing from the stands—the ones currently banned or blacklisted—who were the most dedicated among us.

It's clear that in this entire country, you can't even gather 200 people for a protest within an hour, even when people's livelihoods are at stake. Meanwhile, we've been banging our heads against a wall for five years, pushing forward and refusing to back down. We are here every single week and we aren't giving up. When everyone else threw in the towel, instead of standing together with pride, someone always feels the need to talk trash or nitpick.

Is anyone forcing you to show up? If you're fed up, don't come. Simple as that.

Christian Miller48. You want me to start digging up all those posts of yours that are basically just 80% pure, useless negativity?

Look, you’re entitled to your opinion, and hey, maybe you've got reasons to be feeling down, but none of that makes your attitude make sense. Whether you're doing it on purpose or it's some personal stuff, it's just pointless. 😉

To be honest, I find myself agreeing that it’s time to walk away from Yankee Stadium. There is absolutely nothing positive to be found there anymore; the whole atmosphere has become repulsive to me. I simply cannot bring myself to cheer in such an environment. It’s nothing but pure filth and corruption through and through. Long live futsal.😁

boldtiger7 As stated by:
I find myself in complete agreement regarding the need to steer clear of Yankee Stadium entirely. There isn't a single redeeming quality to be found there, and frankly, the whole atmosphere has become utterly repulsive to me. I simply cannot bring myself to cheer in such a place. To hell with those losers and all their pathetic nonsense. Long live futsal.😁

It’s a classic case of cognitive dissonance. When you're playing indoor soccer, the energy is infectious—pure optimism, high spirits, and absolute madness. But the moment you step foot into Yankee Stadium, that entire illusion just collapses. All that positivity sinks like a stone the second you cross the threshold. Honestly, I’m ready to start a full-scale boycott of Yankee Stadium.

Exactly.

Put simply: the old guard is in the stands, the middle group is banned or blacklisted, and parents aren't letting their kids come. You could really feel the lack of anyone under 20 today.

I mean, can you blame a kid for staying home when his parents are watching news reports about people getting blasted with tear gas? This isn't just "fans fighting" anymore, even if some people refuse to admit it.

There are plenty of those kids at Major League Soccer games, which is why that matters. That's where the next generation of fans gets raised. They aren't gonna grow up in a camp, and they won't turn into thugs later. We thought we'd lose those generations, but we won't.

Why do we see such huge crowds at Major League Soccer matches, yet nowhere near that many at Yankee Stadium? A good chunk of the fans who show up to the indoor arenas—even when it’s freezing or just a local neighborhood vibe—didn't bother showing up for today's game. They just aren't interested in this constant struggle, the drama involving Jerry Jones, or the high-priced mercenaries. They turn up when there’s a great atmosphere and solid cheering, but they steer clear of everything else. The only way to get them back is if we can somehow bring that positive energy over to Yankee Stadium, which is impossible as long as the club stays this way. Now that we're finally back at Yankee Stadium, it’s crucial that people don't ruin things by acting foolishly—no flares, no firecrackers, no getting wasted, and things like that.

I found myself feeling completely defeated today after nearly eight years of staying composed following yesterday’s events... and honestly, for the last two days, I have been absolutely livid. I am not just angry at the leadership—not even at his questionable management style—but I am incensed by those inert Bad Boys who failed to show up today to support these kids who are putting everything on the line in this fight... I get it, you have families now, you have responsibilities where you can't afford to make mistakes, and you aren't living that reckless lifestyle anymore... but when your own brothers are out there bleeding for the cause, you don't just sit on the sidelines. You show up.

Honestly, I don't even know who you're picking a fight with or why, but at this point, it doesn't even matter.

Timothy Torres86 said:I wonder why we show up so much for Major League Soccer, but the turnout at Yankee Stadium is so different. I guess a good portion of the fans who go to the smaller local arenas or the ice rink just didn't bother coming to the game today because they aren't interested in all this fighting, Jerry Jones, or the players being overpaid. They seem to only care when there's a great atmosphere and good cheering, but they stay away from everything else. Maybe they’ll come back if we can bring that positive energy to Yankee Stadium, though that might be impossible while things are run this way at the club. Now that we're back at the stadium, it's probably important that people don't ruin it by doing stupid things, like using flares, firecrackers, or getting too drunk.

I think that's totally wrong.
