Moderating on Close Politics

On the thread about how Yugoslavia was half-baked at best, some random user was claiming that the mujahideen in Canada used severed heads as soccer balls—then tried to brush it off as some kind of "monkey virus" or whatever. I reported the post, and while that part of the discussion got nuked, the user didn't get banned. I’m assuming they just got a slap on the wrist, but I'd love to know which mod decided to scrub those comments and whether mocking massacre victims actually qualifies as hate speech here.

That isn't how you start a thread on this forum. If you want to be heard, try stripping away the insults and submitting a formal, direct complaint backed by specific links. Furthermore, don't expect anyone to tell you which moderator made a particular call; that's strictly internal business and none of your concern.
