Warren Beatty and Annette Bening have been going strong for 22 years now...

I suppose Warren Beatty pretty much went through half of Hollywood before he finally settled down with her. ☕

I was under the impression this thread was about "regular" actors who didn't fall under the thumb of the Hollywood elite.
Is anyone actually reading the intro? 🤷

So? He finally found his person and settled down. I guess you just have to endure twenty-two years to hit that Hollywood standard for longevity... which, let's be honest, basically feels like an eternity...

I honestly thought this thread was supposed to be about those "regular" actors—you know, the ones who didn't end up groveling to the Hollywood big shots...
Is anyone actually reading the intro?... 🤷

What does "normal" even mean, really? And what’s all this magic they talk about when it comes to Hollywood...

briskhound2 said:Well? They found each other and finally settled down, I guess.

That's great, really. But it doesn't change the fact that he was basically a player who took every single opportunity.
Still, you have to last 22 years, which is pretty much the Hollywood standard... so, forever, I suppose.

And hey, maybe they have an open marriage.🤷
People who are used to being promiscuous probably find it hard to break those habits.

But what does 'normal' actually mean?

If you ask me, the opposite of Warren Beatty would be...🤣

And what exactly is the allure of Hollywood?

All those opportunities. Here is how Warren Beatty made the most of them, I think.

Beatty's reputation was not only that he was highly sought after by his female fans, but that he fully exploited his sex symbol status.
Biographer Peter Biskind estimates Beatty managed 12,775 partners before settling down with Just One in 1992-wife Annette Bening, a figure he says doesn't even include such things as "daytime quickies.
http://voices.yahoo.com/top-ten-most...28.html?cat=49
If you consider that virtuous?

So, that means he had 12,775 partners plus Annette.😂

casualbadger92 said:Look, that’s all well and good, but it doesn't change the reality of what he was doing—he was basically a high-end gigolo back then, just taking every single opportunity that came his way...

I mean, the guy was huge... just straight up massive back in the day. 🤷 As if any of us wouldn't... Honestly, this whole "morality" thing—it always cracks me up...

I mean, who knows... maybe they’ve just got an open marriage going on... 🤷
People who live that fast-paced, casual lifestyle... they don't exactly find it easy to just flip a switch and walk away from it all... it's hardwired into them at this point...

If they wanted to throw around some Roman-style orgies mixed with those wild German swinger parties, honestly, who even cares? I haven't seen a single thing about it in the papers—not one scandal... Don Johnson and M. Griffith, on the other hand...

If you're asking me... the total opposite of Warren Beatty would be... 🤣

So, what are we even supposed to be talking about here? Some absolute nobodies who married their high school sweethearts, have maybe two credits to their names—one of which was probably just being an extra in a crowd scene in Forrest Gump—and managed to stay married? Please. Warren Beatty is just a regular guy, honestly. He was huge, sure, and he definitely played the game while he could, but at the end of the day, he’s been with his wife for over twenty years now. No massive scandals, no getting dragged through the mud by the tabloids, nothing blowing up on social media... just a guy living his life...

So, basically... he had like 12,775 different partners before finally settling things down with just one—his wife, Annette Bening. 😂

I mean, if you ask me, that’s when he finally figured out the whole game with women. Honestly, seeing that number... it kind of makes him my hero...

Pretty sure he wasn't even hanging out with them that night. 🤷

That happened at a club owned by Johnny Depp.

briskhound2 said:Well, the guy was famous. I guess anyone would be if they were in his shoes.

I don't think we should judge others by our own standards. No, I really don't think everyone would act that way. ☕

Even if they had Roman orgies or German swingers parties, who cares? I haven't seen anything about him in the papers, no scandals at all. Don Johnson and M. Griffith on the other hand...

They are a completely different topic.
We are talking about the former playboy, Warren Beatty.
Just because he's been with Annette Bening for twenty years doesn't suddenly make him some kind of saint.
Or rather, it doesn't make him a candidate for this topic—someone who didn't succumb to the temptations of Hollywood. Like a model of stability and composure, I suppose, after managing 12,775 partners. 🤷
A player is always a player.
I wouldn't talk about him "settling down." Maybe he just can't perform anymore. 🤷 Maybe Viagra doesn't work for him anymore. 🤷 Or maybe he caught something and decided to lay low. 🤷
We don't know... what remains is his past. And that speaks for itself. ☕

Then what should we discuss? Some absolute nobodies who married their high school sweethearts, have two credits to their names (one being an extra in a scene at a rally in Forrest Gump), and have a stable marriage?

I don't get why you're trying to link those two things—acting talent and promiscuity. As if one affects the other, or like you have to be a total jerk to be a great actor. 🤷
I mean, look at Daniel Day-Lewis.

Warren Beatty is just a guy like anyone else.

Maybe on a psych ward in the sexual addiction unit, yeah. ☕

He was popular and he took advantage of it, but he's been married to her for 22 years. There are no scandals, he isn't in the tabloids, and nobody is dragging him through social media...

I mean, realistically, there isn't much left to give once he's already burned through everything. 🤷

I suppose I’d say he finally learned how to actually treat women properly.

But he wasn't exactly alone in his own head. Having a different woman every single night, or even multiple ones in a day... I guess that says a lot about someone's mental instability and their deep-seated complexes. Maybe he should have spent a little more time working on himself.
That fact makes him my hero.

So, you're saying a guy who basically just used his looks and fame to satisfy his basic impulses with as many women as flies circling a lightbulb is enough for you to call him an idol?
🤷

Oh, absolutely.

they're a whole different story.
we're talking about that old player Warren Beatty right now.
just because he's been riding shotgun with Annette Bening for twenty years doesn't suddenly turn him into some kind of saint.
or better yet, a candidate for this topic—like he’s some paragon of stability and composure, especially when you consider those 12,775 women... 🤷
once a player, always a player.
I wouldn't go talking about any "settling down" here. Maybe he just can't get it up anymore. Maybe Viagra stopped doing the trick. 🤷 Or maybe he picked up something nasty and decided to lay low. 🤷
Who knows... all we have is his history. And that speaks for itself. ☕

It's not their marriage that actually bothers you, it's the fact that forty years ago, Warren Beatty was basically woman-bait and slept with everything that moved. If a guy stays with one woman for 22 years, that actually says something. It's a wild theory, sure, but maybe he finally found the one who fits.

I don't get why you're trying to link those two things—acting talent and being a total slut. Like one affects the other, or like you have to be a degenerate to be a great actor. 🤷
I mean, look at Daniel Day-Lewis.

What do you mean, promiscuity? I'm saying the guy's been married for 22 years, and you're saying he was out there running wild before the wedding. You think someone didn't force those 12,000 women to sleep with him? 🤷

Maybe over in the sex addiction ward at the psych ward. ☕

Oh, please, that's already taken. Michael Douglas and David Duchovny have already claimed all the VIP suites.

honestly, there's nothing left in the tank once you've burned through it all 🤷

A bit of a tough sell... I mean, if Robert Redford is still turning heads, and Anthony Hopkins too, then why couldn't Warren Beatty have a little fun whenever he felt the urge?

but he isn't exactly alone in this. having a different woman every night—or multiple women in a single day—says quite a lot about someone's mental instability and deep-seated personal complexes. maybe he should've spent a little more time working on himself instead...

And what does that say about the women who climb into bed with a massive movie star? A smart career move?

so you're telling me a guy who basically just used his looks and fame to satisfy his basic urges with as many women as flies on a porch is actually someone you'd look up to?
🤷

Look, the guy has solid movies and great roles under his belt—he even crushed it with directing and screenwriting. In my book, that kind of intellect paired with good looks is a killer combo. Why shouldn't he be an icon? Or if we're just judging him by the fact that he slept with half of Hollywood... well, Dennis Hopper snorted his way through half of Hollywood, but that doesn't make him a junkie in everyone's eyes—we judge him by how he acted and directed. And Roman Polanski... man, even though the guy makes my skin crawl, I can't deny he put together some truly powerful films.

briskhound2 said:I guess it isn't really their marriage that bothers you. Maybe it's just the fact that forty years ago, Warren Beatty was such a magnet for women... that he practically slept with everyone who wore a skirt.

What really bothers me is this one guy—he seems excessively pathological when it comes to his sexual behavior, maybe even dealing with an addiction. I guess those 12,776 partners tell a pretty clear story. It’s hard to take him seriously in a discussion about people who should actually serve as role models of modesty and composure, you know? People who didn't just fall prey to the emperors of Hollywood.
And he’s actually quite controversial. I guess he might not be right now, but in the past... well, it was significant. Maybe.

If a man stays with one woman for twenty-two years, I guess that says something. Maybe—it's probably just a crazy theory—but he finally found the one who fits.

I guess it would have been pretty strange if it hadn't happened after 12,000 copies. Maybe. 🤷

What kind of promiscuity? I guess... maybe it's just how things are now.

I guess maybe you don't quite grasp what promiscuity actually means.
I suppose promiscuity implies more than just being active; it seems to include that sense of being "indiscriminate," too. Maybe.

If someone with 12,000 partners isn't a player... then I guess I really don't know what a player is. Maybe I just don't get it. 🤷
So, saying someone has lived solely off this Bennett guy for the last twenty years... I guess it’s basically like saying...
Just because someone hasn't had a drink in ten years doesn't mean they aren't an alcoholic. Addiction is addiction, I guess.
The thing is... it was just how things were. I guess addiction isn't something you ever truly cure, maybe you just learn to keep it under control. It's probably the same way with promiscuity.

I mean, I’ve been married for 22 years, and you're out here claiming he was acting like a total fool before we wed. I guess... maybe someone actually pressured those 12,000 women into sleeping with him?

Are you suggesting that she assaulted him? I guess... maybe that's what you mean?🤷 I guess that would be his only real alibi, if he wasn't being so promiscuous given those numbers. Maybe.

Oh, wait, that’s actually taken. I guess Michael Douglas and David Duchovny already snagged the best rooms.

In psychiatry wards, I guess all the rooms feel exactly the same. Maybe it's just me, but they all seem identical.

It’s a bit tough to say. If Robert Redford can still pull those sighs from women, and Anthony Hopkins can too, then I guess maybe even Warren Beatty could get a little action if he really tried.

I guess they can say whatever they want, but they really shouldn't be part of this discussion. 🤷

What does that actually say about the women who sleep with a famous movie star? Maybe it was just a smart career move?

I mean, what does that have to do with anything? Some might have made a move on him, or maybe he went after them... but the bottom line is he agreed to it.
Maybe there were plenty of those women he just gave false hope to just to get them into bed. So, I guess he isn't just promiscuous, he’s probably pretty manipulative too. That seems common enough with people like him. It’s honestly even more surprising that he’s being brought up in this thread.

In my opinion, intelligence combined with good looks is a powerful mix. Why wouldn't someone like him exculpate himself? The guy has great movies and roles, and he was successful in directing and screenwriting—couldn't he be an idol?

When I mentioned earlier that the guy slept with 12,000 women, you responded by saying that fact makes him your idol.

Or let's just stick to the fact that he slept with half of Hollywood. Denis Hooper snorted his way through half of Hollywood, so does that make him some kind of hero?

An addict is always going to be an addict, or a junkie if we're being blunt. Just because he directs a movie doesn't mean he's cured. He's a director and a former junkie, if we want to be polite.

You should look at how he acted, directed, and everything else. Roman Polanski assaulted a young girl, for God's sake, and while the guy really repulses me, I can't deny he filmed a few truly powerful titles.

Of course not, but you aren't going to include him in a discussion about exemplary citizens. Or do you want to?
Are we supposed to just forget he's a sexual predator just because he made a few good movies? 😕

Honestly, Denzel Washington is one of those rare, genuine A-listers who isn't paired with a white woman.
If I remember right, some Black woman was venting on a blog about how like 85% of married Black actors in Hollywood end up with biracial women—they’re more popular, so they aren't really looking to settle down with Black women.

Okay, maybe she’s full of it, but has anyone actually seen an article backing that up?

It’s even weirder when you think about it; it’s always just these anonymous or semi-anonymous girls complaining. You don't see many actual stars with stars in those kinds of marriages.

Denzel Washington is some kind of religious zealot who’s faced accusations of racism simply because he refuses to film romantic or sex scenes with white actresses, apparently to avoid upsetting his Black fanbase. Honestly, people didn't really hold it against him, but it would be incredibly interesting to see the backlash if a white actress said she wouldn't film a scene like that with a Black man for those exact same reasons. Then again, according to Google, Washington supposedly cheated on his Black wife with a mixed-race woman, Paul Patton—a woman I've seen in a few films and never once realized was of sub-Saharan descent... I just thought she was a darker-skinned white woman, maybe like a Portuguese woman, an Arab woman, or a Mexican woman.

Anyway, speaking of Hollywood marriages, Charlton Heston is a rare breed when it comes to strict monogamy. He never really hid the fact that he wasn't exactly known for being charming or social back in his younger days. He ended up marrying the first and only woman he ever actually went on a date with, and even then, he barely managed to convince her to marry him. It sounds like he had a somewhat obsessive relationship with her throughout their marriage, too. They lived out in some woods far from the center of Hollywood, where Heston could practice his love for firearms in peace. Even most actors who claim to be conservatives—both nowadays and back in the day—aren't actually that conservative when it comes to their sexual habits and marriage...

Yeah, you're right—sorry about that. It really is pure horror, isn't it? But—as strange as it sounds—maybe that was actually the better part of his life? He spent so much time just surviving the absolute hell of growing up with an alcoholic mother and bouncing through foster homes. Keanu has had such a tragic hand dealt to him... yet he's still a true Hollywood darling because he stayed such a genuinely decent human being.

I can't believe I'm even looking at this right now... seriously though, casualbadger92, you really went there, didn't you? It’s one thing to have an opinion, but laying it out like that—it’s almost impressive in its sheer audacity. I was sitting here, just minding my own business, and then I hit this post and felt like I needed a second to actually process everything you just said... it's quite a lot to take in, honestly.
What really gets under my skin is this one guy—someone whose behavior is just excessive, bordering on pathological, if you ask me... like he’s got a serious addiction or something. You look at the sheer number of women involved—we're talking 12,776 different partners here—and it speaks volumes. It’s honestly hard to take him seriously when he’s being held up as some kind of role model, someone who’s supposed to embody modesty or stability... especially when his whole life has been defined by giving in to every whim of the Hollywood elite...
And honestly, he’s being way too hard on him—it's excessive... maybe he isn't under investigation right now, but looking back at his track record, he definitely had his fair share of run-ins in the past... quite a bit, actually...

Look, Michael Douglas and David Duchovny ended up checking into some kind of sex addiction clinic—and then you’ve got Fox Mulder basically going public about cheating on his wife... meanwhile, Warren Beatty? He hasn't had a single scandal to his name. You get it, right? It clearly just bugs you that he was allegedly playing the field like crazy before he ever tied the knot... if that's even true...

Honestly, it would’ve been pretty weird if they hadn't hit that 12,000 mark by now... 🤷

My bad, I’m not even sure if you’re a guy or a girl here—but seriously, did you actually end up marrying the very first person you ever kissed? Because I definitely didn't. And honestly, let's be real for a second... that whole "12,000" figure is a massive stretch. If someone were talking about guys like Rocco Siffred or Ron Jeremy, maybe I'd buy it—since those two are still at it even today...

I feel like you don't quite grasp what the word promiscuity actually means...
When people talk about promiscuity, they aren't just talking about having a lot of sex—it’s more about that "indiscriminate" element, you know? It's that lack of a filter... just moving from one thing to the next without much thought or selectivity involved...

I get where you're coming from, seriously—don't even sweat it. What’s actually hilarious is how people act like Warren Beatty and Debra Winger are some gold standard for a perfect marriage after all these years... especially since he was out there playing the field well before they were even an item. It’s totally absurd. Plus, the guy doesn't even have a medical diagnosis like some other folks out there, which honestly makes things even more ridiculous...

I mean, if someone with 12,000 partners isn't a total fraud... then I honestly don't know who is... 🤷
So, saying someone’s been living off nothing but Bennett for the last twenty years... honestly, it’s kind of like saying...
Just because someone hasn't touched a drop in ten years doesn't mean they aren't an alcoholic... addiction is addiction, plain and simple.
The thing is... addiction isn't really something you "cure" once and for all—it’s more about just keeping it on a leash. You've gotta manage it, day by day. And honestly? It's the exact same deal with being promiscuous... it's just another thing you have to keep under control...

Look, I’m actually gonna ask you to drop some official stats here—like, give us the actual medical diagnosis showing that Warren Beatty is just too old to even keep his gear in his pants... then maybe we can actually have a real conversation about it. But seriously, like I said before, the guy hasn't cheated, he hasn't been caught hooking up with anyone in a car—not even himself—and there hasn't been a single scandal involving hookers or anything... nothing at all... 🤷 But then again, he’s really not exactly the best role model...

So, what are you actually trying to say here—that she assaulted him?...🤷 Because honestly, that would be the only possible way to justify those numbers if he wasn't just being totally promiscuous...

Nah, nah... you've got it backwards. You’re basically trying to say he was out there raping them. Look, everyone keeps throwing that infamous number—what, 12,000?—at him. But honestly? If those women weren't practically throwing themselves at him, he wouldn't have been hooking up with anyone in the first place. Plane and simple. I highly doubt he ever had to beg, pay for it, or even resort to blackmail or anything like that...

In psychiatry, all the rooms look exactly the same.

Well, actually... some face east, others face west. Sunrise, sunset, and all that...

...what does any of that even matter now? Some were chasing him, he was chasing some... the bottom line is he went along with it.
He probably had a whole bunch of women in that mix who were just getting false hope from him just so he could get them into bed. So, he’s not just promiscuous—he’s likely pretty manipulative too. That kind of thing isn't exactly rare with guys like him. Honestly, I'm more surprised he even ended up in this thread...

Long story short - you just don't like Betty 🤷 Personally and professionally, right?

When I mentioned earlier that the guy had twelve thousand women, you replied saying that fact makes him your idol.

And it does. He’s not some porn star, yet he had that many women. Guess I picked the wrong career path...

Of course not, but you aren't going to put him on a list of model citizens. Or are you?
Or because he filmed a few decent movies, we're supposed to just ignore the fact that he's a sex offender? 😕

I’ll still put him on my list of talented artists—even if I can't stand the guy—because the fact that he assaulted a girl doesn't change the fact that he made some good films, which really have nothing to do with who he likes to screw...

briskhound2 said:Look, Michael Douglas and David Duchovny ended up in sex addiction rehab, and Fox Mulder publicly admitted he cheated on his wife... Warren Beatty doesn't have any scandals, you know?

Just because there aren't any doesn't mean they aren't being hidden well.

If it were someone like Rocco Siffred or Ron Jeremy... then maybe I'd believe it (since those guys are still hooking up today).

Well, he actually told his own biographer that himself, and now he uses that number to brag. 🤷

I get what you mean, no worries. What's funny is that Warren Beatty and Debra Winger aren't exactly a model marriage that's lasted 22 years, mostly because he was cheating BEFORE the marriage.

It's a good marriage, though. I mean, I wonder how much of a good marriage a dysfunctional person (read: Warren Beatty) can even have.

Okay, now I'm going to ask you to provide some official data proving that Warren Beatty actually has that diagnosis.

And you really think he'd just walk around showing off his diagnosis? People hide things like snakes.
Illness shows through symptoms, not by visiting a doctor.
So if he can't keep it in his pants, we'll talk about that. Like I said, the guy didn't cheat, he wasn't caught doing anything in a car (with anyone), and he hasn't been busted with hookers, so there's no scandal at all. 🤷 But still, he isn't a great example.

Promiscuity doesn't make someone a cheater, it's just about the numbers. And
his number is huge. 🤣

No, no... it's the opposite. Are you trying to say he raped them? I think people blame him for that famous number of 12,000. If women weren't offering themselves, the man wouldn't be sleeping around.

Oh, please. 😂
He wasn't exactly incapable of saying no.
People have free will. They offered themselves to him and he agreed. It was completely conscious.

Long story short — you just can't stand Betty, can you? 🤷 Both personally and professionally, I suppose.

It's about personality. That's what we're discussing here, the actual character of people in Hollywood.

It seems so. He isn't even a porn star, yet he's been with so many women. I guess I'm in the wrong profession.

There's no such thing as a wrong profession, just bad players.
I’d put him on the list of real artists, even if I couldn't stand him in person. Just because he assaulted a girl doesn't change the fact that he made some good films, which really shouldn't have anything to do with who he likes to sleep with.

Well, that's subjective, I guess. Maybe not for you, but maybe for someone else.
Would you actually hang a painting on your wall if you knew the guy who painted it was a rapist who tortured women? 🤷

Christian and that Mexican man have been married since 2000. She’s actually four years older than him, which is pretty unheard of in Hollywood circles.

image

If you ask me, he’s the perfect example of an actor who actually lives a "normal" life—he clearly hasn't let the glitz and glamour of Hollywood get to his head. Plus, he was a child actor, and we all know how often those stories end badly...

Twenty-two years without a single scandal... honestly, at this point, he’s such a pro at burying his secrets that it’s more likely he’s just actually clean than anything else. You clearly aren't a huge fan of Warren Beatty... 🤣

I mean, he literally put that right there in his own bio—he’s basically out here flexing that number like it's some kind of trophy... 🤷

So, you know how Tarantino told his biographer that he actually had a role in Romanov's Dawn of the Dead? Well, just because he claims it doesn't exactly make it a fact...

It’s a solid marriage, really... I mean, it makes you wonder how someone as dysfunctional as Warren Beatty can actually pull off a decent marriage like that...

Unless you actually know the guy personally, you really don't have a clue just how dysfunctional he truly is. You're basically just operating on an assumption that he’s broken—but honestly, looking at the facts... the evidence pretty much proves you wrong...

You really think he’s just gonna walk around flaunting his diagnosis? Please... people guard stuff like that like it's some state secret—they hide it away like a snake hides its tail...
So, I was thinking about those times when you just know something is off—you can feel it in your bones—but instead of actually calling a doctor, you just sit there staring at the ceiling, trying to diagnose yourself based on some random symptoms... It’s such a classic move, honestly. You start noticing these little glitches in how your body is running, maybe a weird ache here or a sudden dip in energy there, and you just try to power through it. It's like trying to fix a glitchy laptop by just hitting the spacebar harder... you know what I mean? You stay in that loop of wondering if it's just stress or something more serious, all while avoiding that inevitable trip to the clinic... It's a strange kind of mental game we play with ourselves...

Actors act like they’re somehow ashamed of their diagnoses, which is just weird... Honestly, from everything I've read about him, I haven't seen anything negative at all. You're just projecting by acting like the guy is some kind of sick puppy... 🤷

It’s not really about being promiscuous or cheating on your partner—it’s just about the sheer numbers... honestly...
Man, his is just... wow. Truly next level... 🤣

According to him, anyway. I mean, I definitely didn't see a line of twelve thousand women out there all confirming that...

Yeah, right... as if. 😂
Look, it’s not like he’s some kind of saint who isn't allowed to say "no"...
Look, at the end of the day, a guy has free will... he really does. These people were practically throwing themselves at him—offering him everything—and he took them up on it. He wasn't some victim caught off guard; he knew exactly what was happening and he went along with it, fully aware...

Aha. There you are. I’ve been waiting for you to show up... Look, a sick person is subject to the sickness, not their own free will. If someone is genuinely ill and can't control themselves—it's just like alcoholism. It's out of their hands. But if they did it by choice, fully aware of what was happening? Then they did it because they had the opportunity. Which is exactly what everyone else would do, honestly. Morality is, as I said before, a pretty hilarious concept...

Personality... that's really what we're here to talk about—diving into the actual characters of these Hollywood people...

From what I can tell, Warren Beatty seems like a decent enough guy—just a solid actor, not some total jerk, a straight 5 out of 10 in my book. That is, unless you count his own claim about picking up something like 12,000 women... though honestly, the personalities of people in Hollywood and their messy marriages is a whole other debate entirely.

there's no such thing as a bad profession, just bad artists.

I’ve been with 6,000 women. If I were a movie star, it would’ve been 12.☕

would you hang a painting on your wall if you knew the guy who painted it was a rapist who tortured a bunch of women?🤷

If he produced killer landscapes, then yeah, immediately—though I'm not much of a landscape guy myself. Does that mean you’d stop listening to Jerry Lee Lewis just because he was an incestuous creep who married his underage cousin?

inabetterworlde, you’re sounding like some movie inquisitor in this debate. Haven't you noticed how much things change? (Seriously, are you still stuck in the dark ages?) You keep acting like life is set in stone. Who says you can't screw around and enjoy yourself during different stages of life—like in a marriage, for instance? You preach about morality but refuse to see any way of living other than the one you’ve locked yourself into. For crying out loud, Frosty isn't real, just accept it. And why aren't you happy for a guy who's satisfied so many women and spent his life chasing love? (Unless he broke into your house and assaulted everyone you know, then my bad, that's definitely not okay and deserves hate.)

Henry Sullivan3 said:Anyway, regarding those Hollywood marriages, Charlton Heston is one of those rare cases of total monogamy. He didn't exactly hide that he wasn't much of a social butterfly back in his younger days, marrying the first and only woman he ever actually went on a date with—and even then, he barely talked her into saying yes—plus he apparently had a bit of an obsessive streak with her during the marriage. They lived out in some woods far from the center of Hollywood so Heston could shoot guns without anyone bothering him.

Interesting... 🤣

There are plenty of wild star stories.

Just read an article claiming Natalie Wood supposedly caught her husband in a massive fight with Christopher Walken on the night of the accident, right before she drowned after falling off that yacht... 🤷

Thought Sean Connery was also with his first wife, but Wikipedia says he actually had two.
