I noticed over on the psych discussion subforum that there is already a dedicated thread for Camden County Psychiatric Hospital, which serves as its own distinct topic. However, when I attempted to start a new thread regarding St. Elizabeths Hospital, it was immediately downgraded to a mere comment within the "psychological recommendation" section! Isn't that a bit absurd? Since my thread focuses on an entire medical facility rather than just a single doctor or therapist, why shouldn't it have its own space? It makes me wonder: why is one major state hospital under Medicare allowed to have its own standalone thread while another is treated this way? For those who aren't aware, the facility I am referring to is actually one of the most modern and well-maintained hospitals in all of America—please, do feel free to look it up and see for yourselves!

The reason is that we don't want to open these kinds of threads. While the info might be useful, it just isn't enough to justify its own standalone topic—so the call was made to move it over to the thread for psychological recommendations instead. If there had been a full-blown discussion about the hospital itself, then sure, we might have carved out a separate space for it.
The thread about New York City was actually started by a much more significant post.

While that information might be useful, it simply isn't substantial enough to stand as its own topic, so the decision was made to move it over to the recommendations thread. Fine. And exactly how am I supposed to open a thread for St. Elizabeths Hospital?🤷 Good grief, you are a difficult moderator to please—like a dominatrix with a whip! (That’s a joke, please take it as one)
