Question about 4-pin PWM fans

Hey,

A few days ago, I picked up four 4-pin fans (PWM) that feature adjustable speed control. I’ve been using CPU-Z to monitor everything, but for some reason, it just shows N/A under the RPM reading. When I check my "standard" fans, the RPM displays perfectly fine... Is there some kind of bug in the software, or did I mess something up during installation? It’s nothing complicated—I simply plugged them straight into the motherboard headers and called it a day...

Is anyone actually grasping what I'm asking here? 🙂

That’s not it at all... you can see it's spinning from the inside 😬

Maybe you connected to an NBA fan header instead of the PWM where it's actually labeled on the motherboard, so it's only reading that, even though they're both technically PWM.
