Censorship in the Law subforum

I'm wondering why my thread "The Supreme Court is a Joke" just vanished from this subforum overnight.

Is censorship officially in effect now? Just because someone points out how pathetic our government and its institutions have become?

Come on, let's hear it, legal eagles... moderators who scrubbed my post, I'd love to hear one single constructive explanation for this...

Honestly, they can delete whatever they want; everyone knows the legal profession is basically just a hiding spot for the absolute bottom-feeders of society.

Regarding the topic itself, given its nature and the way you framed it, my opinion as a moderator is that it belongs in the Politics subforum rather than Law. As evidence, look at the response from user krena, though the input from granitegull51 on this thread is even more telling. The Law section is intended for technical discussion, not as a platform for venting outrage or expressing blind support. For instance, if granitegull51 had posted that here, they would have received a warning for making baseless, sweeping generalizations.👍

And as for censoring criticism, the Law subforum, just like all the others, is filled with various critiques that remain untouched and visible.👍

The whole reason I thought this could only be understood by legal pros—and should be discussed in a legal manner—was because of that disgraceful reasoning from the Supreme Court. If I wanted laypeople weighing in, I would've moved it to politics.

But instead, you chose to censor it when you could've just moved it to politics.
