So, where do we actually stand when it comes to knowing & listening to the music from our neighbors across the border?
This would be the geographic location of the State—it’s tiny, and honestly, it's pretty tough to find on a map...🙄

Anyway, I'm not trying to make jokes here... Let's be serious for a second.
I've become somewhat interested in them lately—they have some truly fantastic work out there. I used to have a few local artists on my hard drive (and even on CDs😁),
but I really started diving into their stuff once I switched my alarm clock over to their station because I was getting tired of waking up to our usual local pop hits...
A pretty banal reason, I guess, but—that's how it started...
I think we tend to perceive their music as being mostly just—polkas and not much else. But you really just need to take a closer look at their catalog
and you can find some beautiful, solid pieces... Whether this thread lives or dies probably depends on higher powers (meaning public interest)—we'll just have to see...
Maybe, so we don't experience too much of a cultural shock, we should start with collaborations & duets...
