Oh, come on!! 🙂 Are we seriously using the "drama" label as the only way to judge if someone is actually a good actor?????
I mean, just because she isn't sharing the screen with legends like Cher, Michelle Pfeiffer, or Meryl Streep doesn't mean she can't hold her own. It kind of makes me think of that one movie with Diane Keaton—I think she might be Michael Keaton's relative?—and Jack Nicholson... honestly, I've always had a bit of a distaste for those kinds of heavy family dramas.🤮

Oh, I don't know about that... I think he could actually pull off a really intense family tragedy, maybe something like his role in firewall, or even a gripping thriller along the lines of Beneath the surface... it doesn't always have to be about high-speed chases or being some big action hero...

HARRISON FORD'S PLANE WENT DOWN He's banged up and in the hospital

A small plane piloted by Hollywood legend Harrison Ford crashed into a golf course in Los Angeles on Thursday, according to TMZ and other American news outlets.

He was rushed to the hospital with some serious injuries. At first, People reported—citing local fire department officials—that his condition was critical. But then, reports started trickling in saying that even though he took a hard hit, things aren't actually that dramatic.

Ben Ford jumped on Twitter to say he’s at the hospital with his dad. "Dad is okay. He's bruised up, but he's okay!" Ben wrote, thanking everyone for all the well wishes.

A few hours after the crash, Ford's agent put out a statement. Basically, the actor ran into trouble shortly after takeoff and had to make an emergency landing. "He's banged up and currently under medical care. The injuries aren't life-threatening and he's expected to make a full recovery," the statement says.

The 72-year-old is a seasoned pilot, and honestly, he's dealt with a few bumps in the road before.

We don't know exactly why the plane went down around 2:30 PM local time yet. But Nurie Vanegas, a police spokesperson, said during a press conference that they think it was a mechanical failure.

In the meantime, an audio recording surfaced of Ford talking to air traffic control. You can hear him mention the engine cutting out and bring up a tree. Investigators later confirmed the plane actually clipped a tree canopy before hitting the ground.

Ford was flying a vintage Ryan PT-22 Recruit, which was a common sight back during World War II. He was alone in the cockpit, and the golf course he landed on is right near the Santa Monica airport.

Firefighters showed up on the scene, but luckily there wasn't a fire.

Aviation experts are saying Ford probably pulled off a heroic move by finding a spot to land where he wouldn't hurt anyone on the ground. They pointed out that Los Angeles is super crowded and there's a residential neighborhood right next to that golf course.

Also, analyst David Soucie, who was on CNN, claims Ford was likely only about ten seconds of flight away from the runway he was probably trying to get back to after the engine failed.

Harrison is such an incredible actor. Seriously, the man is a legend. What a presence! 👍

His career path is honestly pretty wild. Right out of the gate, he was always hanging out with the right crowd. Sure, most of his roles were just background noise, but hey, at least they were in great movies. You’d think all that exposure would have helped him evolve into a heavy-hitting, authentic actor, but somehow it didn't quite stick. That's not to say I'm just being a hater, though—his performance in Regarding Henry actually blew me away.

Dr. Richard Kimble. That scene where he's shivering in the storm drain right before facing off against the US Marshal, followed by that leap off the dam (even if it was just a dummy that looked like him falling into the water), is pure perfection. A total masterpiece.

Who knows? Maybe he picked up a passion for flying while on the set of Star Wars. 😁

And, if I may drift off-topic for a moment, Blade Runner is hands down his best work—and my favorite film, period. 🥳

I first saw him in Indiana Jones, which remains a dear memory to this day, but nothing compares to Blade Runner (even if admitting that over Star Wars is a hard pill to swallow, given how much I love the franchise).

Beyond that, the man simply delivers incredible performances in truly great movies. 🥳
