How to wire a ballast for fluorescent tubes

Can I hook up four 8W fluorescent tubes to a single 58W ballast? That would bring the total to 32W.
If there’s a better way to handle this, I’m all ears.

It’s just not an option—you either buy different pipes or get new silencers (since every single lamp needs its own set)...
