I was falling apart when I heard it—everything just went south at once. My digestive system was a mess, my appetite vanished, and the weight loss was brutal. I felt dizzy with every single step, dealing with constant abdominal and groin pains that wouldn't quit. Then there was the ringing in my ears and these bouts of fainting... it was relentless. To top it all off, my entire body was itching hysterically—especially my rectal area.😁Getting that swab taken felt like being butchered—honestly. I was bleeding so much on the clinic floor that the nurse just stood there staring at me in total shock.

For about six months, I was right on the edge of developing systemic candidiasis—at least, that’s my assessment based on the symptoms. Everything lasted for half a year. And frankly, I couldn't care less about the possibility of having a.B. until this very moment.
I don't get why they won't prescribe it in cases like this. As for Nystatin—I know it’s been pulled from the shelves here in the States—but maybe it's still available over in Canada? I have a feeling they might still carry it there.

🙂 These symptoms look pretty similar to mine—except I don't have any issues with Candide in the pelvic area... yet. I’m curious if anyone else is dealing with this specific combo. My symptoms started back in December with my tongue—red spots and this stinging sensation. It actually cleared up for a bit, only to come back even worse after N. G.

Symptoms: Burning sensation in my tongue and throat. My doctor insisted the throat irritation was just a virus since I had a post-nasal drip—claiming the allergy thing was just a coincidence, I guess. I took Control 9 for nine days before he switched me over to something stronger—Telfast 180 mg. During that time, I was dealing with a cold—taking paracetamol along with honey and lemon daily. I hadn't started the Telfast yet during that period.

Three days later, my whole body is stinging and itching... I ended up at the ER to get an allergy shot. The doctor told me to stick with the Telfast. It actually helped for a bit—but then the fatigue set in. Now I’m dealing with heavy legs, weakness, joint pain, and this weird tingling sensation that moves all over—including my face, nose, and head. Once that lump in my throat showed up, he prescribed Pantoprazole for at least a week...

I've been doing some digging online—found some stuff about a possible Candida infection. I brought it up with my doctor, but he was pretty dismissive. He basically said, "I don't buy it, but if you're insistent, we can run a swab." He told me I’d need to pick up a transport swab myself before coming back in. In the meantime, I ended up back in the ER because of an allergic reaction—hives all over my body that cleared up after a shower. Since it was the weekend, I went in just to be safe. My doctor had recently taken me off Telfast, and I'd been feeling this tightness in my chest and shallow breathing—which, honestly, might have been a side effect from the medication. They ended up putting me on an IV. When I finally saw the doctor for the swab, he wasn't exactly thrilled about it. He just took a quick swab of my tongue and that was that.

A week later, the results came back positive. Isolated *Candida spp.* My doctor prescribed some Daktarin gel—half a teaspoon, four times a day, crushed in the mouth and swallowed. In the meantime, my vision has been acting up. I went out to get new glasses, but it hasn't helped at all... I have this sensation like I'm looking through someone else's eyes—everything feels surreal—whether I'm wearing glasses or not. It isn't constant, just happens sporadically throughout the day. I’ve also had to run to the restroom more frequently, and the headaches and jaw tension started about two or three days ago.

I went to the dermatologist a few days ago—they put me on 50 mg of Diflucan for a seven-day course. I’m on day five now. They also ordered a bunch of tests: a urine culture, an H. pylori stool test, total IgE... you name it. My current regimen includes Bio-Kult Candea to help my gut flora, Vitamin C, lemonade, lemon water, whey protein, Solgar vitamins and minerals, Astaval antioxidants, green tea, and even sage tea rinses. And honestly? My brain is just... gone. My concentration is non-existent—forgetfulness and brain fog are basically my new personality. I have one tooth that is completely shot, too. I'm not sure if there's any connection here between all this and my symptoms, but my dentist told me to check back once the issue with my tongue clears up—which was right at the start of this whole mess. Now, the dermatologist is insisting I get my dental issues resolved first.

I recently transferred my dental records from one provider to another—mostly because my previous dentist actually fractured a tooth while pulling a neighboring one—and now I’m left dealing with this issue. I was wondering if anyone else has run into similar complications with Candide...?????? Honestly, I’m at a point where I feel like I’m cycling through everything from MS to polyneuropathy, even fungal meningitis. If I actually walked into a doctor's office with this list, they’d probably toss me out the door—or more likely, refer me straight to a psychiatrist. And I’m not far off, either; I’ve been dealing with diagnosed anxiety for three years now. I was on medication for two of them, but I stopped about a year ago. It doesn't really cure anything; it just masks the symptoms, I guess. 🙂🙂

Can anyone help me make sense of these results and tell me what I might be looking at long-term?
I'm 30.
X-RAY LUMBAR SPINE
Bone structure and mineralization of the visualized skeleton appear normal.
Left-sided scoliosis.
S1 median spina bifida. — This is the part that’s really weighing on me—there was never any indication of this split before, and it’s only just now being brought to my attention.
Physiological lordosis.
Posterior intercorporeal line is preserved.
Moderate degenerative spondylosis.
Intervertebral disc spaces are within normal limits.
Small and facet joints: unremarkable.

I've tried digging through stuff online, but I honestly don't grasp what this report actually means or what the next steps might be...

Thanks so much, and all the best.

It felt better for a bit, but then came the fatigue in my legs, general weakness, joint pain, and these migrating tingles all over—including my head, face, and nose... Once the lump in my throat appeared, he prescribed pantoprazole for at least a week...

In the meantime, I did some digging online and stumbled upon the possibility of a Candida fungal infection... I mentioned it to my doctor; he didn't really believe me, but said we could run a swab if I wanted. I had to buy the transport swab and come back in... (I actually went back to the ER again for an allergy flare-up—hives all over that cleared up after a shower—but since it was the weekend, I went just to be safe because my doctor had stopped the Telfast. I feel like I'm looking through someone else's eyes—everything feels surreal, whether I'm wearing glasses or not... It isn't constant, just happens intermittently throughout the day... I'm also having frequent bathroom trips... headaches and a heavy feeling in my jaw have persisted for a couple of days now.

A few days ago, I saw a dermatologist—he recommended Difulcan 50 mg for seven days, and I'm currently on day five. He ordered a urine culture, an H. pylori test, and total IgE levels... I'm taking Bio-Kult Candea to boost good gut bacteria, plus Vitamin C, lemonade, whey, Solgar vitamins and minerals, Astaval antioxidants, green tea, and I rinse my mouth with sage tea... and I am losing my mind... my concentration is non-existent, and forgetfulness and brain fog are my new normal... I have one severely decayed tooth and I'm not sure if there's a connection; my dentist told me to follow up once the tongue issue passed—right at the start of everything—and now the dermatologist is calling for dental work.

I actually moved my records from one dentist to another recently, since the first one cracked the very tooth that's causing trouble when pulling another one nearby... I'm curious if anyone else has dealt with these kinds of Candida issues... right now, I feel like I have every ailment from MS and polyneuropathy to fungal meningitis. If I walked into a doctor's office with this list, they'd probably toss me out and send me straight to a psychiatrist—which isn't far off, considering I've dealt with diagnosed anxiety for three years. (I was on medication for two years, but I stopped a year ago because I feel like it just masks the symptoms rather than fixing them.)🙂🙂

Dear honey, you're still quite young to be dealing with all of this. I have almost all the same symptoms as you—and I'm already 25. It was only two months ago that they finally identified it as Cande. I don't react well to Difulcan—it barely does anything—and my doctor doesn't seem to take me seriously. Since I'm over 60, I suspect I might never fully clear it, especially since my husband has it too (we aren't being intimate)—it's just so infectious. You really have to be persistent, incredibly persistent...
