Holy hell.

Insane game. Right around the 45th minute, some guy in line passes out and starts rambling about how he was actually rooting for Mamić a year ago, but now he’s totally done with that guy's crap.

Massive win against the haters. Honestly, that guy's career is already dead anyway.

Keep it moving.

Yeah, true, but compared to how things have been lately, today felt like a total breeze. I remember standing in line just to get into the stadium for the game against the Seattle Sounders, where there were maybe 500 people hanging out in the east stands, so when you compare that to today... well, you see what I mean.

Look, I came in through the south entrance, so maybe security was a bit more lax over there—but honestly, who cares? The bottom line is the cops knew better than to mess around because they could see a massive crowd forming. Numbers matter, plain and simple.

Petar Skansi is leading the National Stadium Violence Task Force. Following the game, he confirmed there might actually be a chance they change the rules regarding banning away fans in MLS.

"The fans showed more maturity today than the club executives did. It’s the kind of maturity we should respect. If the fans are okay with sitting in the same stands, I don't see why we shouldn't allow it. We have to listen to their voice, especially if we're looking at what happened during this derby,"

"They really did show maturity, even in such a tense situation. I think after this, it will be possible to sit down and talk with all the supporter groups. Personally, I'm going to push for consulting with the fans to find the best way to make sure the game stays a sporting spectacle rather than just someone's ego trip," said the closest associate to the Secretary of Sport, Željko Jovanović.

It's worth noting that Zdravko Mamić actually managed to unite the fans through the fight against what they call repression. Do you guys honestly believe these scenes from a peaceful derby can become the norm?

"Today, they were united by authority. Like I said the other day, we can always reach an agreement on the rules. Rules exist to be respected, not forced upon people. They are about consensus, provided certain conditions are met. We will never agree to chaos in the stadiums. If the fans want to bring order back to soccer, my door is always open," he added.

It’s not just about the sheer number of people that kept them from acting out; it’s just one of those days.
When you have the Bad Boys and the Rangers sharing a stand—the two biggest groups and bitterest rivals—working together without any bickering? Add in the media spotlight and the fact that if anything goes sideways, the blame falls squarely on the police. Just look at how they were forced to let that column of people pass with their hands up...
You know as well as I do that under normal circumstances, away from the cameras, they’d have a free hand to settle scores with any "troublemakers" they spotted.

All in all, things went pretty damn well.

Just a quick ninety-minute stroll down Los Angeles before the match. Honestly, you'd think Obama himself was showing up or something:

Skansi is a complete idiot.
And then there’s Borovec, acting like he hasn't a clue what's going on.

No, my mother was actually one of the people responsible for drafting the regulations and the laws.

Borovec! That guy is a total amateur; I wouldn't trust him to manage a lemonade stand, let alone anything of substance. Props to the guys for pulling it off today, though. 🙂

That little Chinese guy can ignore the ban all he wants; let him go climb a building in China and scream insults at Mamić while he's at it.🤣

Look at these comments from people who don't even show up to the games. These are the typical citizens who spent years treating you guys like nothing but common thugs and constantly spitting on the fans... It feels like you actually pulled off the impossible and turned the public on your side

Anyway, hats off to everyone

Now the Bad Boys are gonna scrap the leaders, but this crew needs to stay tight until they've cleared them all out. 🙏

Man, how old are you anyway? You're climbing like that... 🙂 I honestly thought your heart was gonna give out right then and there. 😁

Jesse Campbell said:Now the suits are probably gonna try to scrap the fan leaders, but honestly, this unity needs to hold steady until we finally kick every last one of them out. 🙏

But seriously, what happens once that’s done? If we actually pull off those big goals together, are we just gonna turn around and start swinging at each other again? It could be damn near impossible to go back to the way things used to be if we let it slide. 🙂

Jesse Campbell I guess he's saying...
I guess those Bad Boys are probably going to scrap the vouchers soon, but we really need to stay united until they finally get rid of them all for good. 🙏

I guess the big shots are gonna start acting up soon and the media will probably try to flip the script on us, but I reckon we just need to stay true to ourselves and not let anyone get under our skin, you know? We should probably just ignore them like we have been and stay focused on our own lane until the very end.
