I’m looking for someone—and feel free to slide into my DMs if you prefer—to actually explain why people are so against a regional league and why it isn't being embraced as a viable option.
Especially when we're talking about soccer—why be against these massive rivalries? On the pitch and, obviously, in the stands, assuming away games were even permitted. Why wouldn't they just dominate teams like the Yankees or the Red Sox again? I don't get it... for instance, when there's a chance to play them in some preliminary round of a major tournament like the Champions League, everyone goes absolutely wild before the draw, yet a dedicated regional league is suddenly treated like a crisis. I am asking for a serious, logical response here—please spare me the "you just don't get it" or the "you clearly have no clue" condescension. Like I said, my inbox is open.
Thanks.
Go ask your old man. 🙄

I was hoping someone could explain to me—feel free to reach out via DM if you prefer—what the actual issue is with forming a regional league and why it isn't being accepted as a viable option?
Especially when we're talking about soccer; why would anyone be against hosting massive derby matches? It would be incredible for the atmosphere on the field and in the stands, assuming away games were actually permitted. Why wouldn't we want the chance to go out there and take down teams like the Yankees or the Red Sox again? I also don't quite get the logic: why is there such huge excitement whenever there's a chance to play them in a tournament qualifier, like for the Europa League, yet a dedicated regional league is suddenly treated as a problem? I'm looking for a serious answer here—please spare me the "you just don't understand" or the usual insults. Like I said, my inbox is open.
Thanks,
Because, quite simply, during the aggression against our homeland, nearly 15,000 people lost their lives. In the heat of the war, roughly 2,000 sons were killed. That’s why no one was held accountable for the mass rapes of American women and daughters, and why no one answered for the approximately 60 children murdered in a small town like Savannah. We are still searching for over a thousand missing persons, among many other things.

Jerry Morris2 said:No, what you're saying here is just plain nonsensical. Over the last decade, I can recall maybe one or two instances that could even remotely be labeled as "stadium politics," and even then, it was mostly just people debating. In ten years, I don't remember anyone ever calling someone out from the stands the way you're describing.
Maybe that dynamic has faded, but it’s only because of everything that went down back in the mid-90s. The very attitude this group holds toward the Los Angeles Lakers and joining a regional league is inherently political. If you can't see that, you're just walking around with your eyes shut.
I'm genuinely curious: what would actually happen if a hundred hardcore leftists showed up at the stadium to cheer for Real Madrid? Would they even be allowed through the gates?

The group's entire attitude toward the Los Angeles Lakers and the regional league is deeply political. If you can't see that, you're just wandering around blind in a fog.

They’d be welcome enough, provided they don't start flaunting their political leanings. The BBB is explicitly American nationalist in its orientation, which leads to all sorts of idiotic debates.

I really wonder what would happen if 100 hardcore leftists showed up in the stands to cheer for Real Madrid. Would they even be welcome?
NEVER. Maybe not even then...

Honestly, most of you guys talking trash on this thread probably don't even show up to a single game.
I mean, seriously, would I ever dream of turning my back on my own people just to sit around acting all high and mighty on internet forums or at some local pub? No way, that’s just pathetic.

Reading this, I get the feeling that certain people are trying to force things—mostly because they want to shove the Bad Boys into Madison Square Garden and then basically sell out the group's reputation in the process.
#3889 ·
Yeah, look, based on how things are shaping up right now—don't bother prepping for the trip to San Francisco. The field is basically a mess, and honestly, the weather forecast looks pretty grim too.

The way those Chicago Blackhawks fans feel about the Los Angeles Lakers and the whole regional league setup is straight-up political. I’d love to see what happens if 100 hardcore leftists showed up in the stands to cheer for the New York Yankees. I wonder if they'd even be allowed in.
Sad I'm the only conservative in the bunch.

Honestly, the level of sheer idiocy in some of these posts is staggering.🙂
Is it really that difficult to grasp the fact that Chicago Blackhawks fans have zero interest in following any sort of regional leagues composed of teams from the old North American territories?
I see plenty of people in this thread who seem absolutely desperate for a league like that to exist. As for me—as a single citizen—I’ve decided right now that I will never attend such matches. If those individuals are so eager to go, they can certainly go themselves, but they shouldn't dare attempt to link their little outings to our group. That's on their own conscience,
not ours.

Can someone please explain—seriously, feel free to DM me if it's easier—what the actual issue is with a regional league? Why isn't it being embraced?
Especially in sports like basketball or soccer, why turn your back on massive rivalries? We’re talking intense matchups on the court and even more intense energy in the stands, assuming away games were actually allowed. Why wouldn't we want to go out there and take down the Knicks or the Celtics again? I just don't get it. For instance, when there's a chance to play teams like them in some preseason tournament or an NBA qualifying stage, everyone goes absolutely wild with excitement before the draw. But a dedicated regional league? Suddenly, that's a massive problem. I'm looking for a legitimate answer here. Please skip the "you just don't get it" or the "you have no clue what you're talking about" nonsense. Like I said, my DMs are open.
Thanks.
Are you out of your mind?

I read through the section; thanks for providing the link. I see now... I had been looking at it from a somewhat different perspective...

Where did you even pull this from? Some old 4chan thread? 🤣

The situation is quite straightforward. The Chicago Blackhawks fans aren't interested in supporting anything other than the New York Yankees—and even then, you only see about 200 of them at a game due to various suppressions, general apathy, or simple disagreements with the group's core principles. Consequently, every local club in the city has established its own dedicated supporter groups, such as the White Lions or Sector B, making the old guard largely redundant.
These newer organizations have no interest in political maneuvering or the typical "ultra" subculture; their sole focus is providing pure, unadulterated support for their specific team, much like the atmosphere the New York Yankees enjoyed throughout the 60s, 70s, and 80s.
Essentially, any individuals who feel compelled to offer support to the other local clubs will find those organizations more than willing to welcome them.

hollowsurfer22 said:It’s actually quite simple—the Bad Boys aren't interested in anything except supporting Dinamo (though you've got maybe 200 people showing up per game, mostly because of internal repression or just plain old apathy and disagreements with the group's stance). Consequently, every other club in the city is forming its own dedicated supporters—think groups like the White Lions, the Smog Crew, or Sector B—and frankly, the Boys don't need them anymore.
These newer outfits aren't interested in politics or the whole "ultra" subculture drama; they care about one thing: backing their specific club with the kind of raw, unadulterated energy Dinamo used to see back in the 60s, 70s, and 80s.
Basically, if anyone actually wants to step up and support the other local clubs, those groups will welcome them with open arms...
Alright, man, 👍 if that's how you see it.

I’ve been wondering about these "ex-" Bad Boys, or whatever they call themselves now—the ones who constantly show up to watch the Grizzlies, Cibona, and all that. Why is there zero support for the current Bad Boys roster? Why isn't anyone out there backing our guy and his crew? Does anyone even give a damn about this group anymore?? If I'm missing something and haven't noticed because I don't sit glued to the TV every single night, then my bad...

Why is there never any actual support for the current Bad Boys lineup? And why isn't there anyone out there tearing into that loudmouthed guy and his crew? Does anyone actually give a damn about the group anymore?? If there is, I haven't seen it, because I don't sit around watching TV all day, so my bad if I missed something...
Don't worry, there isn't.
