But hey, I actually know Dudely personally, and it honestly took me three tries to make it all the way to the end. I bet most of you guys didn't even read it to the last word, otherwise, you probably wouldn't be leaving comments like these.

The whole article is just pure sarcasm.

This piece is irrelevant! You’re the only ones giving it any weight by actually commenting on it...🙂

KRANJČA MATTERS !!!!!!!

Mickey Mouse..... look at those ads!!!!! 😁

The article actually works in our favor, but I guess 99% of people here don't get that. It mocks Jerry Jones sarcastically, but then totally tears him apart at the end.

It's kind of silly to expect The Boys to pack out the North Side, since they don't really show up there anymore anyway. The Boys would fill up the North Side if they could actually trust his word. But he's broken that promise way too many times.

Isis 😁
I actually read the whole thing once and sent him a DM, which he replied to:

I have this crazy habit of replying to all feedback, good or bad.
I don't get what pissed you off so much. It's just satire about the situation at the stadium.
Besides, it literally says it's a joke. I've traveled to a hundred away games with Real Madrid and I would never insult the fans.
And I despise Jerry Jones. It was a joke that, clearly, didn't land.

And another thing:

In my entire life, I have never—and will never—write anything bad about The Boys.
I respect their grit and I support them, you can go ahead and check how much I do.
Like I said, it was a joke, which is right there at the end of the text. Plus, it asks how The Boys are supposed to pack the North Side if they aren't even going there??
But whatever. Maybe I messed up by joking around, but the intention was never to disrespect the fans.

Yeah, it's a private message, but I don't think he'd mind it being posted here either...

It’s foolish to expect The Boys to pack out the North Side when they don't even bother showing up there anymore. The Boys would fill those stands if they could actually take him at his word. But he’s broken that trust more times than anyone can count.

Honestly, wasting breath on this nonsense feels pointless, but let’s set the record straight once and for all:

BBB isn't going to force its way into filling the North Side or any other section just so Jerry Jones can test out his latest manipulation tactic.

That note left at the local convenience store near "Dick" was the only response needed for his endless excuses:

Try to grasp what was being communicated there... "metaphorically speaking." ☕

BBB isn't going to force some naive crowd control on the North Side Boys or any other section just so Jerry Jones can test out his manipulation skills.

And that note left at the local 7-Eleven near the Dick shop? That was pretty much the perfect response to all his nonsense:

Try to see what he was actually saying there... "metaphorically" speaking... ☕

Man, just try to get what I'm saying. This guy—he's a journalist, right?—he isn't even attacking you guys, which I know a lot of people here seem to think. He just made a satirical take on Jerry Jones, used some sarcasm to describe the whole situation, and basically insulted him in a pretty smart way.

The stuff you just posted, and what's written over by the Dick shop, it's the exact same thing the reporter wrote, just phrased a little differently.

I’ve seen plenty of years and plenty of games, but I can't remember the last time I felt this happy after a match like I did following this one against Zadar. I've been sitting here for a few days wondering why, and the reason is actually pretty simple: BBB won. BBB didn't care about the South, or the US, or Jerry Jones, or those two sponsored groups during the boycott, nor the militia, nor the blacklists at the gates, or any criminals. After everything, over 500 people stood out in the rain on a random Saturday for an insignificant game and sang for 90 minutes.
Everyone who shared that BBB feeling was either 10 or 55 years old. They were strong or weak, ugly or good-looking, liberal or conservative, bums or professors... if anyone needs to understand, showing up in East Atlanta this Friday at 6 PM is a requirement. After the game, I'm certain they'll be glad they came, especially after that song that summed up the BBB story in just a few words: despite it all, we're still here, and we won't kneel for anyone...

Alex Barrett3, consider this my rebuttal to your obsession with some completely irrelevant piece of writing. ☕

The BBB story isn't some irony found in some anonymous journalist's column; it is exactly what was stated above!

The whole BBB thing isn't some irony in an anonymous journalist's piece—it’s exactly what was mentioned above!

It’s kind of wild how we got here. You’ve got a Cleveland fan spitting on a positive article about his own group and their fight against Mamić, calling it "irrelevant." Meanwhile, he’s labeling the writer—who is actually a fellow fan and a BBB member—as some "anonymous journalist," all while a Cleveland supporter jumps in to defend him.

As for that "obsessing" part, I don't really see it that way. The piece is solid; I've read better, sure, but I've definitely read worse too. It’s probably just a matter of writing style. Maybe it’s just not your vibe, or maybe you didn't quite catch what the writer was trying to get at.

As for whether I'm being "harsh," I wouldn't say so. The piece is decent; I've read better on the subject, certainly, but I've also read worse. It really just comes down to the prose style. Maybe it's not your cup of tea, or perhaps you missed the underlying point the "anonymous journalist" was trying to drive home.

I am not spitting on him. Where exactly are you seeing vitriol in my posts? 🤷

I am simply trying to advise the rest of us—our own people—not to get unnecessarily worked up over sarcastic jabs. Right now isn't the time for irony, snark, or playing games. What we actually need is for everyone who gives a damn to stay focused and push this fight through to the finish line.

This post is directed at the collective, not at you personally, so please don't take it to heart. With all due respect for the support you provide. 😉

I guess I'm just trying to tell Svoy and the rest of us not to get all worked up over some sarcastic comments. Honestly, we don't really have time for irony or sarcasm right now. What we actually need is everyone who gives a damn to step up and help us push through this fight until the very end.

And hey, I'm talking to Svoy here, not specifically to you, so please don't take it personally. No offense intended, and I definitely respect the support you give us. 😉

But wait, don't you think this is also a way of fighting? Everyone fights their own way, even if it's just with words. He wrote a solid article that I think some people just missed. Maybe it's better to explain things to people instead of just tossing the whole article aside as irrelevant or calling the reporter some random anonymous hack. People contribute how they can, I guess.

EDIT: To me, attacking the guy and calling his article irrelevant or labeling him an anonymous nobody counts as attacking him.

We should probably just make a doormat featuring everyone's footprints and Jesse Campbell's silhouette; it might be the most definitive statement this forum has ever made, in a sense, if we're looking for common ground. 🙏🙏

🙂

I love being a big deal online (TV + web), haha, but in the real world? No way am I becoming some icon. There are plenty of people who actually deserve that more than me.

Bottom line: I love the chaos, but when I show up to the games, I'm just another regular fan in the stands. Always have been. 😁

As for the slogan, it's alright, but we can definitely step it up.
