Regarding Dr. Fric, first off, that's just not how things work. That’s Mamić's playbook. A journalist—especially one who gave himself the liberty of representing the entire San Francisco press corps—should really know better.

It's actually quite simple.
"Dr. Fric" made a very calculated move by responding to the Ferengi whining about their imprisoned overlord. He wasn't crying out in 2008 or 2010; he did it yesterday. He used Mamić's own vocabulary—a quick little quote—because that's the only language he and his lapdogs understand. He achieved exactly what he wanted: a sharp, blunt statement regarding Mamić and a swift exit from the press conference podium.
And let's not forget, the guy isn't even a sports reporter; he's a musician.
That single act won't change much in the actual Mamić case, but man, it is entertaining to watch him bang his head against the wall after Jurčić's outburst. Now he's fleeing the press room because he hit an unexpected reaction—a complete departure from the usual line of bowed heads and terrified, domesticated little reporters. It serves to plant a seed of fear in him and his cronies, making them realize that public backlash like this might actually happen again.
Whether this happened in 1947, 1968, or 2007 doesn't really matter; that's just being pedantic about a ridiculous situation. But if this triggers a domino effect where journalists in places like Miami, Indianapolis, or Savannah start calling out the filth after games, it'll feed the paranoia. It would cause public humiliation and nerves to fray, potentially sparking uncontrolled reactions from his pack—exactly like the ones we're seeing now, where someone finally feels the heat.

This guy seems to morph into whatever version of an American patriot or a globalist idealist suits his current needs. In reality, he strikes me more as a con artist and a speculator who belongs behind bars. If you ask me, he’ll eventually go down, though I suspect nobody is actually losing any sleep over it.

Killer trip to San Francisco yesterday. Man, Jack Rodriguez3 was right—traveling as a group is one thing, but stopping at every single gas station together? That five-hour trek to San Francisco felt eternal 🤣, beer was flowing like water. If anyone grabbed a group shot after the new trance set over by that rest stop near Aspen...
