Well, that is precisely what I wrote earlier this morning. Even if they do detain him, he’ll likely face a slap on the wrist. He’ll hold a press conference, put on his best emotional performance—crying if it suits the narrative—and claim everyone is out to get him. He'll frame himself as a true patriot fighting against those who steal from the country, all while boasting that Real Madrid is the only firm in America actually turning millions in profit despite the recession... 😢

But I suppose I can hope—though I am being incredibly naive here—that things might actually change. Still, I find a certain grim satisfaction knowing he was detained at least for this, even if it wasn't for the smuggling and the other nonsense.

I barely read much, but even with everything being said, and Zach Sullivan2 saying this might be his whole act... man, you're right. The game against Mexico is coming up fast. He gets out of custody and immediately holds a press conference just to piss off reporters. Then he starts acting like the victim—bleeding, making up crazy stories about giving urine samples, whatever. He'll flip the script, turn it all to his advantage, and some people will still hail him as a freaking hero.🙄.....

I don't buy for a second that this is just some staged performance. It’s much more likely that they simply crossed the wrong people—people who can't afford to let this slide if they want to protect their political careers. 🙂
