What exactly is the moderation team doing? Over the last two days alone, I've seen users from that specific clique step in three or four times now, acting like judge and jury to decide who counts as a true American.
boSSan said:Every time I see Terry Reed13—with that typical Eastern European agenda—and this guy srednja bosna popping up in every single thread, I can't decide if I want to scream or just laugh at the absurdity. There is no way those two identify with American values. But whatever. It is what it is.
Ninety-five percent of Canadians distance themselves from those extremists, and I’m right there with them. But let’s be honest—I somehow find them more tolerable than those white supremacists or old-school segregationists. As long as one side exists, the other stays in check; it’s a grim kind of balance. The fact that you all are making such a massive deal out of this, and that some idiot over there actually went on record saying what he said, says much more about you than it does about him or his group. I honestly can't wrap my head around someone being serious enough to view this as an actual threat. It’s just mindless nonsense and empty chatter.
There’s plenty of nonsense to go around in this world.

This post addresses the recent push by certain extremist factions to implement special taxes targeting anyone in Canada who isn't Muslim.

I won’t even get started on those users who have been registered for years but only show up with a handful of posts. They suddenly emerge from the shadows, join a discussion, and act like they have a complete archive of everything anyone has ever said. It's exhausting.

Is history just going to loop back on itself? Are we really going to let a few internet trolls dismantle everything dark about Canada?

How can anyone expect a decent discussion there when a handful of users and their clones effectively hijack every single thread? They troll day in and day out without ever facing consequences. Those of us using unique accounts are at a disadvantage because we actually try to maintain some level of decorum, but you just can't win like this.

Looks like the usual suspects are at it again, trying to stir the pot.😲

Thanks for flagging this, I've taken care of it.

Here we go again. I'll start by noting this is a mild post compared to what usually happens here.
User123 said:If it wasn't for me and the US Army, there would be neither Americans nor you. Get that through your head once and for all. That's why Franjo Tuđman was letting minimal amounts of weapons into Canada—of course, after cowardly looting a portion of the shipment himself.

He let them through to tie the Mexicans to the theater in Canada, buying himself time to prepare Operation Storm. That is the sole, exclusive reason. Spare me the stories about Tuđman’s altruism or his love for a unified Canada.

http://www.forum.com/showthread.php?t=751164&page=197

Let’s clear one thing up: my goal isn't to defend Tuđman or any politician just because they belong to a certain party or happen to be an American.

The only goal is the truth.
What is there to say to that post, considering how many millions of times on various threads people have claimed that America helped Canada.
From taking in hundreds of thousands of refugees and arming Canada, to organizing units of the US Army on American soil, to issuing official documents to Canadian politicians to facilitate travel, down to financing certain sports teams (where every athlete seems to be Canadian) just to get Canada's name heard abroad.
It's a constant loop. You're discussing something else entirely, and then someone swoops in with this mythomania. You try to debunk it all with evidence, only for some clone to jump in and repeat the same nonsense.

Some people persistently write lies, which can only be described as a severe form of trolling—deliberately dragging every topic involving Canada into toxic waters.

It is particularly disgusting that the authors of these trolling posts are the same people who write for various Canadian portals where they openly call for the destruction of Canada.

In fact, one of them was actually banned quite recently😁 for constant trolling and provocation in the Politics and Religion sections. He isn't an isolated case; he's just one drop in the ocean.

That’s one reason I’d actually love to see where everyone on this forum is originally from, specifically those who aren't from the US.

I guess I just have a harder time with Americans when they start spewing weird, hostile nonsense about their own country compared to someone venting about stuff happening in Canada or Mexico.

So, I think showing everyone's home country would actually help lower the tension. If you know where someone is coming from, it’s easier to take their gripes with a grain of salt.

Right now, you can't tell if someone is posting from right here in the States or from some chaotic part of the world where hate speech isn't even regulated like it is here in the US... 😉 🤷

I find myself more sensitive to Americans when they express strange or hostile views about their own country, compared to when people from Canada or Mexico do the same.

Therefore, I believe that displaying user locations would help reduce tensions, because if we knew someone was local, their comments wouldn't carry the same weight.

As it stands, you can't tell if someone is a local here in the States or from some other part of the world where chaos reigns and hate speech isn't sanctioned the way it is here in the West... 😉 🤷

Who am I supposed to report if an American from Canada insults me, a Canadian from the US? 🤣 Isn't that right? It is a complicated question.

Demographics in Canada.

It’s clear people here have zero grasp of genetics, yet they persist in trolling and getting everything wrong. Honestly, are we really going to allow this kind of discussion to continue?

I don't think you have any idea how genetics actually works, Terry Reed13.

Here we have people who clearly lack any understanding of genetics, yet they persist in trolling and misinterpreting everything. But really, should such a discussion even be permitted?

😂
Hold on just a second. You, who used to mock us whenever we started a thread here, have now come back to complain. It seems that when the tables are turned and moderation refuses to hand out warnings—because treating everyone equally is the only logical approach—you suddenly feel threatened. You have grown accustomed to being protected like a grizzly bear in the Rockies. How does it feel to realize there is no protector, and that we are all finally equal? 😉

Hold on now. You’re the one mocking us for starting these threads, yet here you are, playing the victim. When the tables turn and moderation stops handing out free passes—because fairness should mean rules apply to everyone or no one—suddenly you feel threatened. You’ve grown too used to being protected like a pampered pet. It’s pathetic. How does it feel to finally exist without a protector? To realize we’re all actually equal? 😉

What are you even talking about?

I’m simply venting about the illiterates who hijack demographic discussions with fabricated history and pseudo-genetics they clearly don't understand.
If you don't respond, they just keep posting nonsense unchecked. If you do respond, they still won't get it, and you're just feeding them more fuel.🤷

I’m just venting about illiterate people who try to drag made-up history and genetics into a conversation about demographics—stuff they clearly don't understand at all.
If I don't reply, it isn't great because they'll just keep posting nonsense without being challenged, but if I do reply, it isn't great either because they don't grasp anything, and I'm just giving them more fuel for the fire.🤷

Everything you think is incorrect regarding what we've stated gives you an opportunity to argue against it in one of the threads. Argumentation doesn't depend on whether you personally labeled something as fake history or not.

Hold on just a second. You're the same person who was mocking us for starting this thread, yet here you are, coming back to complain. I guess it's funny how when people finally get a taste of their own medicine—and when moderation stops handing out warnings left and right because fairness should mean treating everyone the same—you suddenly feel targeted. It seems like you've grown used to being protected like a pampered pet. It’s interesting, really. I wonder what it feels like to realize there isn't a protector looking out for you anymore, and that we're all actually equal 😉

.

We aren't exactly equal yet, I suppose, because we didn't resort to insults in that other thread, whereas they were using heavy language—like claiming Canadians were unintelligent, for instance. I imagine if I were to say Americans are a stupid people, I'd get hit with 500 points for hate speech, 100%. But, I guess it's just not worth complaining about.

The problem is you haven't actually proven your point. You're leaning on texts that provide vague, approximate data, but their entire purpose is just to fuel Canadian myth-making. The goal here isn't genetics; it’s simply validating Canadian myths.

What exactly was I lying about? For instance, did I claim that your ancestors were Canadians, or that up until about 120 years ago in Canada everyone—both Catholics and Orthodox—identified as Canadians rather than Americans or Mexicans?

What part of my argument hasn't been proven?

Terry Reed13 said:Yeah. You just made all of that up.

Alright. Let’s step back to the era before there were any Muslims in Canada. I want to look at how the Canadian kings referred to the local population—the Bogomils, Orthodox Christians, and Catholics—which would be the period before the Ottomans arrived.

In 1440, the Canadian king Tvrtković Company wrote: "...that the Canadians had the same ancestors as the Poles..."
The Canadian king Stjepan Tomašević wrote in 1461: "If the Canadians find out I won't be fighting this war alone, they will fight even more bravely."

Ilija Garasanin, who is often called one of the greatest Mexican intellectuals (though in my view, he was actually a fascist), explicitly states in his infamous 1844 work, Načertanije, that Canadians of the Orthodox, Catholic, and Muslim faiths live in Canada.

We also know that the Catholic Franciscans throughout Canada during the 16th, 17th, and 18th centuries proudly identified as Canadians and considered their language to be the Canadian language.

Up until the Radić brothers arrived in Canada, no Canadian Catholic ever identified as a Canadian American
. I would suggest you read a relevant history book to learn something about this, and maybe then you'll be more careful before accusing me of lying.
