How to hide my current activity?

You know how when you click on someone's profile—you see their bio, what they do, their browsing history, their posts, the option to DM them, and that little status light next to their username that shows if they're online or in invisible mode? And right next to that green or red dot, it says things like 'editing a post,' 'replying to thread,' or 'last seen 20 hours ago.' How do I shut all that off?

wait, if you deactivate that, does it mean your online status won't show up on the forum anymore??

Actually, I think you’re supposed to check the box, not uncheck it, right? 🤷

And does that setting just hide your status when you're logged in, or does it also mask whatever specific page or activity you're actually looking at?
