I’ve got this roommate, he’s 19, and his diet is basically just processed hot dogs—we're talking like two pounds every few days—along with hard-boiled eggs, instant soup packets, and ham sandwiches. He washes it all down with Gatorade or Coke, and then hits the chocolate and cookies on top of that.
The only exercise he gets is walking to campus and back. That’s it.
His schedule is a mess, too. Some days he’s eating hot dogs at 8 AM, other days it’s 1 AM...
He might grab a couple of lemons once a month, but that’s about it. No fruit, no veggies, nothing.

Most of the day he’s just sleeping, then he stays up all night glued to his computer. He’s constantly yawning, no matter what time it is.

So, I'm wondering... besides just gaining weight, what kind of health disasters are we looking at with a lifestyle like this?

Diabetes, high blood pressure, cholesterol issues, anemia—you get the idea. It’s all those ailments tied back to vitamin and mineral deficiencies because they clearly aren't getting enough of the good stuff. Then there's the whole spectrum of cardiovascular disease...

I'd go as far as to say we're looking at various cancers, autoimmune disorders, allergies, and more if this dietary pattern keeps up long-term.
