From a purely sporting perspective, I love that we didn't play it safe, but damn, everything has become such a mess lately that you just end up looking like an idiot

My plan was simple: play the first half the way it should be played to see where we actually stand, then immediately swap in a second lineup for the second half and go full throttle... but Goluža is our pride and joy

Yeah, the Mexicans...🤣 honestly, they can only beat us if we're playing in Belgrade. We saw pretty clearly during the Olympics what happens when we play away from home. I think we're actually gonna have a harder time against Belarus than against them—we'd probably just roll over the Mexicans by 10 points, easy.

To all you guys claiming we're idiots or just being played—you're acting like total cowards who are more terrified of the French than anything else. You'd rather hand them the win than deal with us actually losing on purpose like some weaklings who can't handle a little competition from overseas. I mean, should we have avoided playing them last year after we absolutely crushed them? It doesn't make sense.

We didn't throw it, but we should have prioritized keeping our starters fresh; if we actually make it to face the French, we won't even have enough gas left for a single half.

It seems we have a lot of tactical experts and big thinkers in this thread. I’m fairly certain most of them would have been the first ones calling for strict morality and fair play at the Olympics if it involved Chinese badminton players or Spanish basketball teams.

The Spaniards have a clear stroll to the finals ahead of them... whereas we're facing the frogs! If God actually answered Vukovic's prayers, maybe we'll see them at the Dance, where they're playing much better than they did at the UN.

Why settle for a casual walk to the finals when you could crash out in the QF?

How are we saying we didn't calculate this?! Why lie to yourselves? The game was intense for five minutes straight—we did our math, and then we still ended up looking like absolute idiots.
