Smart, principled, and honest Americans will likely find themselves exiting during the semifinals, while othersβ€”in this particular instance, the Spaniardsβ€”coolly walk away with the medals.

We actually did it!!!

I’m honestly not sure if I should be celebrating or just feeling overwhelmedβ€”kind of like how you all probably feel right now...

But man, I have to say, I am incredibly proud!

We went toe-to-toe against the Spanish team in soccer and we just wouldn't back downβ€”we played through the absolute bitter end.

If only people acted like that in everyday life and across the board, things would be so different!!!

Raising an empty hand in the air after that goal when they let their opponent run solo down the line for the second timeβ€”honestly, the players on the field weren't any better behaved.

At this point, even Forrest Gump looks like Einstein compared to this level of stupidity... I swear, for the first time in my life, I actually felt embarrassed to be an American!πŸ™ˆ

But no, they’re geniuses, clearly.🀣

Something else just occurred to me.
It’s possible that management offered us some sort of deal behind the scenesβ€”something in exchange for more favorable officiating for the rest of the tournament.

Anyway, the Canadians and Mexicans are just taking it on the chin.

Honestly, this is what gets to me the most. We burned through our rotation when we didn't even need to, and I guess the math just wasn't there. We probably could've cruised to a win using a mixed lineup or even some bench players, but nope, we just waste everyone. Like, they bring in that tiny little rookie and then pull him right back out after 30 seconds... man, it's just frustrating. πŸ™„

Exactly. And man, we are totally gonna crush them. No doubt about it.
I guess the only downside to pushing for this win is maybe wearing out the players for the next games... I don't know. Like, they might end up getting banged up against teams like France or Denmark more than if they were just playing someone like Germany or Belarus.

I mean, look at that last play where he cuts in from the wing and takes that shot from the short corner...

The guy probably nearly had a heart attack when that ball slammed right off the post! 😬

The one who walks away with the medals.

Sigurno said:Idiots, morons, fools... honestly, it’s not even hard to find the right words to describe these American handball players today.
After a performance like that, I guess it's time we just turn our backs on them and call them traitors to American sports.

Because, at the end of the day, they're just total trash.
And maybe it's finally time to just tell them all exactly where they can shove it.

Hey, don't go overboard or start whining for no reason, what's with all the insults and the cursing? 🀦

Come on now, let’s look on the bright side... things aren't actually that bad... Katy mentioned that it looks like we might have lost Copland for the rest of the season 😬
