I’d love to get your take on this scenario.
You’re out for a jog through the woods—just a regular Dogger move—and you pass two guys sitting on a bench.
One of them shouts, "run Forrest run."

Would you consider that rude, offensive, or just... whatever?

Depends on my mood, but I’d probably just laugh. I don't think "Run, Forrest, run!" is some commentary on Forrest Gump's mental state—it's just a line from a scene where he's running. Maybe it's a bit tactless to yell something like that at a stranger, but then again, you don't really care about people you don't know... So, I doubt whoever shouted it actually meant anything by it 🙂

Whenever I see someone running, I can't help but think of Forrest Gump. I don't usually say it out loud, though... unless I'm hanging with friends. 😬 It’s nothing bad, really. Just a random thought that pops up. 🤷

I think it's pretty charming! Honestly, it’s one of my absolute favorite movies 😍

I think I’d honestly just burst into tears and head straight home.🤷

I'm genuinely curious, though—what kind of topic am I going to stumble into next today?

Didn't Brad yell that at the guy he just terrified in Fight Club?

It could be interpreted as a threat, almost like "run before we catch up to you"... it all depends on the tone of voice used.

You just go running along, turn right around, and slap an L on your forehead with a big ol' grin 😁

I always find myself saying that whenever I spot someone out for a jog—it’s just one of those little things that strikes me as somewhat charming, I suppose🙂

I mean, if you’re sporting leg braces, then it really isn't all that clever.

But if you’re just your average Dogger, it actually comes across as quite funny.

Seeing two guys sitting on a park bench deep in the woods is a pretty dead giveaway that they've been smoking marijuana, so honestly, you can't really hold it against him.

I’m not talking about people with braces—I’m really not that repulsive. Chill.

It really depends on where I’m running. If I’m out hitting the trails in a beech forest, then whatever, it doesn't matter much... but if I find myself in an oak grove, they'd better keep those comments to themselves.

Sure, they can throw whatever they want at me, but men 🙂
