It feels like we've lost the appreciation for the actual grind. I remember following a local club a few years back that went on a decent run, and everyone was acting like they'd won the championship, only for them to lose the very next game and have everyone forget they even existed. It makes the whole concept of "momentum" feel a bit manufactured for the sake of a good story.
